EAP dead flipped town and my bud Rayn frustrated and others are too? This will be my last game for a while - new job and they did block TL (when the first couple days it worked, then I installed new firewalls and it does not anymore) is it worth res'ing and me reading the last 40 pages? | ||

I apologize that we had such a shitstorm. I couldn't tell Sent what was up because I was literally yanked (as in, someone grabbed my shoulder) away and put in the driver's seat of a car. Again, family emergency stuff. I thought we had handled it on Wednesday, but apparently China doesn't care XD Fwiw I am not Chinese nor am I related to any Chinese. However, my family DOES do a lot of work in China (PRC). So. Anyway, I'll be back. Chill. I am really, really sorry... I should have made Trfel a cohost, or waited for someone who had time. Let this game serve as an example: ALWAYS SEEK AND ESTABLISH AT LEAST 1 COHOST WHO YOU ARE SURE IS CAPABLE AT YOUR DEADLINE- AND PREFERABLY A FEW. I had some very kind offers but was only proactive with Sent, who is hosting a very complex game right now that happens to share our deadline. Again, I am reading. I will post again very soon. | ||

I actually wasn't sure about this week to begin with. I was going to host in mid August, as my fam would be in China and so they wouldn't need my constant aid and overseeing anymore (long story). However, I started to indicate that I was cool with hosting a mini setup. This goes in a different que, that apparently needed hosts (so, if you want to do some hosting, be Foolishness's guest- I think he will take anyone right now seeing what he sent me) so, I got a pm saying I could put up my game like 3 days before I actually did it, and even then it was rushed. When the game filled, I hate keeping people waiting but I knew, I KNEW, I would need a cohost. I had some tentative offers, but I knew I needed someone solid. But Sent was pretty public, and he is generally pretty good, so I took him on and we were under way- sort of. Sure enough, not only did the embassy give us trouble, it gave us trouble ON THE EXACT DAYS AND AT THE EXACT TIMES our deadline fell under. If anything, I would have thought it would be early mornings that I would be yanked, but apparently not. For what it's worth, you were just lynched as a smurf which I get is harder. So, the hard feelings actually only last about as long as it took to write that. But frankly it does still need to be said or I will be a huge pushover.
