I thought of some of the replacement situations I've encountered on TL going into this decision, but I'm thinking going forward (this in from BH) 12 hours might be a better cutoff on whether to throw the replacement in or wait until the next phase. I was worried waiting until the next phase without Clarity voting might modconfirm him (he could in theory be warned for failure to vote per my rules) but I've been since told how to get around that without affecting how people perceive the player in question. I know LoneMeow replaced a newbie out for Holyflare like maybe 2 hours prior to the daypost and he was NKed instantly so I knew I'd never replace that close to the deadline, but at least I have a better sense of what timeframe makes sense. | ||
