The shot doesn't do any of those three things, Palmar is a feared player in the forum for finding scum. Though he was wrong on Vivax it was early int he week and the ability to find scum outweighs the potential danger of a random blue or what not.

? You just answered yourself lol. He makes it to the top of the list because that line of thinking didn't make sense. It's an attempt at soft pushing Damdred, while leaving options open. And there's a lot of speculation on wifom aka the NK reasoning. And he just leaves it there without drawing any conclusion from it. You've got to think at least one of these options are likely if you think it's important enough to list.
I already explained Damdred was on the townier side of null in an earlier post. And his reads aren't too different from mine. And he's been analyzing the game, did a vca, like that's a lot to do as scum this early.
So yeah, Damdred being town to me and QwerTruffle looking like he's setting up Damdred for a fall, plus the odd last minute vote switch puts him at top of list for me.

Night kills are not entirely WIFOM, they're always for a reason (even if sometimes that reason is hard to discern). The night kill possibly indicates that Damdred is scum, because Damdred has incentive to get rid of Palmar who is scumreading him, even if Palmar didn't provide reasoning. Does this mean that this is certainly the case, or even likely? Of course not.
