If you know what I'm capable of, you'd know my game picks up as days progress. I don't do well with a large lynchpool, never have, and being shoved into this game 50 pages in became a lot more difficult than I expected. I still don't like how hard you pushed me as the alternative lynch, along with Breshke. Knowing my alignment, it feels like one or both of you were just doing so to earn town cred, since town flips either way. | ||

The problem with lynching Shining is that it's perfectly reasonable that he still wasn't caught up and not ready to put in the work. That newbie game (the one HTS said LX??) he was in that and he didn't turn on until like Day 3 or 4. He didn't replace in either. Here he kinda posted a read or whatever but didn't really go for it. Scott131337 replaced in as mafia and made this pretty list post with links. In that he said he used a post of mine that was a long essentially town read of 2 wagon'd towns the previous day. I asked him why that was my shining example of towniness and he said "You said you couldn't sleep, so I thought that was towny." I immediately knew he was scum (didn't case him though). As mafia you absolutely have to show you have read the thread. As town, well what's the hurry? While you will eventually, since people will think you are not solving the game unless you read, but it's not an imperative. So no. Shining probaly is town. Or at least just as easily as not. This isn't to say that you are mafia for putting in all that work, it's just that mafia has a far far more motivation to show reading the thread. WIFOM cause some vets know this and will use it as a town tell too. | ||

I give prpl a lot of town points for that. Yes, it is possible. It's much easier as scum to town read knowing they're town than it is to fabricate a scum case on someone you know is town. Can't know shit until he comes back though, if he does at all. | ||

When you do, read Roulette (Stutters linked it), Titanic 7, and Down Under 2 at the very least - he was MLed D1 and I realise the last one was a low-postcount game but you can see the difference. The irony is that I think his read formation, etc in this game is actually worse than it was in Titanic 7. Roulette though, read pages 4 and onwards, massive difference in the way he reasons. | ||

See, I'm used to you tunneling, Trfel. When you think you've got scum, you pursue it passionately. But the last time I saw you tunnel this hard, it was after I offered you an alternate case that could've won us the game. Instead, your tunnel lost it for us. I'm inclined to think you're just misguided town on me. As for Breshke, that last minute switch was really odd. If you think both are town, why would you lynch the one that's contributed, as opposed to someone who offered us nothing to this point? | ||

If prpl is town, he gets lynched and everything I've done all game is for naught making me a relatively easy mislynch with how divided we are. If prpl is scum, he gets lynched and gets massive town cred for hammering him. If this is the case that would mean that the third member thinks prpl is doomed anyway which has it's own implications. Or they're both town and we're royally fucked, but I doubt any of these are happening. | ||
