When she and I were working together in Student V, there was a lot of stuff that I wanted to recommend to her to do that I felt like I couldn't because I'd be hydraing instead of coaching. I kept some of my reads and whatnot at arm's length and spent most of my time asking her questions to help her focus her thought process. She pays close attention to detail and picks up on a lot of apparent contradictions in others' posts and questions them to find her answers. Regardless of whether you think the Damdred read is especially compelling, the structure of it certainly fits that mold. And while I admit I haven't seen her play mafia sided, I think she would probably struggle to pay the same attention to detail for her first few outings, because it's natural for newer mafia sided players not to be as attentive as they normally are, since they don't have any answers to find. I think she's town, and separately I actually do like her comments on Damdred, whose flip on Palmar was completely unexplained from a quick search of his filter. I get why he'd like Palmar's jokes and not want to lynch him, since that's where I'm at. I also get why he would view Palmar as a policy lynch, because that's where I was on d1 of Hammertime. I don't get how he could go from one to the other when Palmar's behavior doesn't change at all, and it doesn't help that he doesn't explain. I think Damdred is a good lynch right now.
Is this all the push from eden? I don't see why this has you so bent out of shape.

I'm fine not mafia reading ls at the start when he's not there and has limited posts. I keep people around I generally enjoy reading palmar is enjoyable and made me laugh in a bad day especially when we have all these better lynched in the thread.
like I wasn't even super excited about lynching palmarbi dedicated like 8 words to it and like 100 to SL and trfel and you don't see the difference?

My read on Ls is very good. Ls likes to sheep people. But he had a good read as to why im not mafia and went agains tthe grain and called the leading wagon at the time town. Ls is toen

What I'm going to try and do here is analyse what Damdred said in the context of where these quotes were in the thread. The problem I have with Damdred's first quote (filter page 2, thread page 25) is "he might be willing to lynch Palmar" but there's no reason given. Amongst the other reasons cited in thread before Damdred posts is a meta read cited by Chez, Marv's read on him (looks like it's PoE based since he had nothing on others), before Damdred says "I might be willing to lynch". So I cannot tell at face value whether Damdred is sheeping what appears to be scum reads that others are making on page 24. When I say I think Palmar's policy, that's when he says the same thing (second quote posted here)
Only after that time Damdred posts the begging out part. But Rasputin, I see this post by Damdred, and seeing your response in quote, why was this concern not resolved when he posted this seven minutes later?

It's Day 1. Everything's horrid. Nitpicking my HTS read to death when most of my defense was just quoting myself or repeating what I'd already said is horrid.

Do you have any reason to believe the people you are scumreading are scum that isn't Damdred-centric? That includes reading (or not reading) posts that you've written. Your initial case on Trfel was before he re-entered the thread.

Yeah, you missed my question. You can find it in my filter cause I still need to read your other post. I asked him why Palmar being funny had an impact on why he wanted to lynch Palmar or not.

Given the discussion on LS right now...
Off the cuff, I'm getting the usual LS town read from what I've read of him so far. LS is someone however, that people do tend to scumread, sometimes as has been said he's not fully articulate and sometimes a scum player can take advantage of that (honestly, I did in Newbie LX...yeah I know LS even mentioned he's still bitter on that).
Even in Carol, he was sheeping left, right, everywhere and the only reason he wasn't being scumread in that game was because he claimed a ghost fairly early on.
So someone (not nec Damdred) scumreading him could be a potential red flag, maybe.
