The Rules
The rules for this game are drawn from my model OP here: (link). Read them.
Supplemental Rules
In addition to the rules outlined in the Model OP, there are a couple changes for this game.
1. Night Length: Nights will last 24 hours, and you may speak at night.
2. Day Length: Each day lasts 48 hours.
3. Lynch Type: Plurality: The player with the most votes gets lynched. Ties are resolved by who out of those two was most recently ahead of the other.
4. Activity: It is required you make at least 2 posts per 72 hours, and ALSO meet the arbitrary activity requirement that exists entirely in my mind and will not be explained. Voting is mandatory.
5. Deadline: The Lynch Deadline will probably be at 21:00 GMT (+00:00), though if this doesn't work, we can change that.

Roles and Setup information
This is a semi-open setup. There are four possible setups, and which setup is chosen will be RNGed. Each setup will then be modified in one of three ways, which will also be RNGed. The chosen setup is not revealed, but it should be deducable as the game goes on.
Vanguard of the Glorious GNU/Linux Dawn
Linux Distro (Vanilla Townie): Okay, so there are some configuration issues. Maybe it's time to switch to a distro with a different package management system? Actually, it might be best to compile the kernel from source... You are a VT. Find and destroy the mafia.
| grep (Parity Cop): You are a command used for filtering things. Each night you target someone, and you're told if the alignment of your target is the same or different as your previous target. Your N1 check doesn't return anything, but is necessary for your N2 check to work. Your checks interact with roleblocks like this: (link). You can't check yourself. Find and destroy the mafia.
tar (Doctor): Sometimes, people need to save things. You can do that. Each night, you can save someone from the nightkill. You can't protect the same player twice in a row. You can't save yourself. Find and destroy the mafia.
Favored Distro (Named VT): You are a blue with no powers. You have a small but fanatical following. Find and destroy the mafia.
Town Win Condition - The town wins when there are no mafia left in the game or nothing can prevent that from happening.
Awful Software
That One Program (Mafia Goon): You're that one piece of software that only runs on Windows that prevents people from switching to Linux. Sometimes you're a piece of a professional software like Origin, sometimes you're something more benign like MS Office. You are a thorn in the side of the glorious GNU Dawn. You are scum. You have no special powers. You win when scum outnumbers town or nothing can prevent that.
Proprietary, Intermittently-Functional Driver (Mafia RB): Agh, why don't you work?! Who writes a driver that doesn't work at all? Fuck it, I'm switching to Nouveau. You are scum. Each night, you can RB someone.. You can RB and send in the factional KP in the same night if you are the last scum. The target, even if he is a VT, is notified of being roleblocked. You win when scum outnumbers town or nothing can prevent that.
OS X (Mafia GF): Under the right circumstances, someone might mistake you for a Linux distro. You do a lot of the right things! You are scum. You return green to checks. You win when scum outnumbers town or nothing can prevent that.
Mafia Win condition - The mafia wins when they match or outnumber the remaining townies or nothing can prevent that from happening.
Possible Setups
Base Setups - pick one at random:
A) 1 That One Program, 1 Proprietary, Intermittently-Functional Driver, 1 OS X, 1 tar, 1 | grep, 8 Linux Distros
B) 2 That One Programs, 1 Proprietary, Intermittently-Functional Driver, 1 Favored Distro, 1 tar, 8 Linux Distros
C) 2 That One Programs, 1 Proprietary, Intermittently-Functional Driver, 1 Favored Distro, 1 | grep, 8 Linux Distros
D) 1 That One Program, 1 Proprietary, Intermittently-Functional Driver, 1 OS X, 2 Favored Distros, 8 Linux Distros
Modifications - pick one at random:
1) Remove one Linux Distro and add one Favored Distro.
2) Use setup as-is.
3) Remove one Favored Distro and add one Linux Distro if possible.
Each Base Setup is equally likely. Each Modification is equally likely. Who gets what role will be RNGed.
