This kind of questioning is a decent example of why liancourt is mafia. Aside from the lala point it's all just asking me to rehash what's already in my filter; the lala point looks like a decent question on the surface but actually isn't; and none of it seems to be leading anywhere useful. It's like I'm being quizzed to test my knowledge of my own reads. And my manager today is more lax on phone use DrP's recent activity doesn't particularly impress me. He flip-flopped on me for no reason I can see; just last night he says I'm probably town because my reads conflicted with prevailing sentiment, now he says I'm mafia because ??? He hasn't done anything in his recent set of posts to make me think he's town, so he's still in my POE kill pile | ||

and ur read on bats is the opposite of mine. He was way more townie earlier in the game in my eyes, but you say he was scummy then, but when i see bats as lackluster recently you read him as townie??? What has bats done recently that made you read him as town??? | ||

(1) I haven't caught a mafia yet so there's nothing definitively distinguishing town from mafia. It's easy for mafia to sheep town onto town, harder for mafia to sheep town onto mafia. (2) I have so many strong town reads that someone who isn't one of them and whose reads are in large part sheeped from me is more likely than normal to be mafia sheeping me. | ||

If the person is A) Town, the mafia probably did it either as an excuse to show he had tons of reads, or he have plotted some stupid strategy to kill that guy off so that he looks very good for the death. Or, he don't want to call that person mafia since its hard to do so. If the person is B) Mafia, the mafia probably did it either to fill in the gaps (most mafia go for some townreads on mafia and some scumreads on the other mafias) or he did it because that person is the weaker player in their team, and would flip mafia. He would gain town cred too. Even from a mathematical perspective, 11 town 3 mafia, to call someone town (given you called 3 person mafia, regardless of which 3), it would be 11/14 chance anyone would be called town if he is mafia. Of course, how good the town player is will heavily affect this statistic (less scum will call a good player mafia, they're fighting uphills to lynch him) | ||
