First yamato77 points his finger at ObiWanShinobi. I very quickly agree and put my vote in this thread. Nobody seems to care much though about any of this, iamperfection and Koshi are still arguing about whatever. This happens for a few pages before you (VisceraEyes) vote for ObiWanShinobi claiming it's as good as any other lynch. ExO_ quickly follows up. At this point there isn't even a case on ObiWanShinobi, just a bunch of people voting him. Slight resistance in that Forumite votes ExO_ for his hardly reasoned vote. No one really talks much about ObiWanShinobi and the lynch loses traction after you switch to Forumite instead. Slighty support from 27ninjabunnies and Toadesstern. Honestly, it doesn't feel much like scum had much influence on how it didn't happen. It seems much more like we were still going on about other stuff and it just got kind of lost in that. yamato77, me, you, ExO_ all looking good for voting him, but nobody is looking like they were really trying to divert attention from him, he didn't have much in the first place outside of the votes and they just kind of dissipated on their own. Koshi's questioning came after the initial hype had died down. I think it's far fetched to think that anything in the ObiWanShinobi lynch timeline points at Koshi being scum. | ||

If that's the case then yeah, Koshi doesn't fit the profile of scum trying to pull votes off ObiWan, but what about the interaction itself? Now that you've determined that Koshi isn't guilty of trying to divert votes off ObiWan, do you think the interaction itself is strange? More specifically, the fact that Koshi never really revisits the line of questioning to ObiWan? | ||

Because people were humming and hawing about lynching lurkers before the iamp stuff came about... Maybe it's just one of those things that I'm right about it for the wrong reasons, but I think Koshi is scum here. I'm just having a hard time putting to words why. And I don't want to read his full filter because it's big. You're just supposed to agree with me prplhz, wtf  | ||

I looked at Damdred or whatever's filter and it doesn't look good to me, but chances are I'm not going to be able to tell you why satisfactorily apparently. We'll see, I'll post about it in a bit. | ||

I'm going to read some during the early morning hours as I don't have to wake up tomorrow and I'm pulling an all nighter. | ||

You guys were talking about his questions to Obi, Koshi for 2-3 pages of his filter was really trying to stir up activity and get everyone to talk and at least vote or give one good or bad read just to see if people were into the game and not lurking on the sidelines. He called out several people in his filter, the questions for obi seem to be just that. He did try to push the game forward and got the rob call right on being a town. His other reads have been so so, he did have a third party down as a person of interest but two of the others were town. I think he is zealous but he helps the game and is not scum at all. First read his frigging filter. Done? So who were the most talked about for lynch people yesterday? Forumite, iamperfection and Corazon. And Damdred talks about them a total of 1 times when he mentions Forumite in passing. He doesn't have an opinion on iamperfection and he mentions Corazon one single time, very early on, when he just wants to know why he's off iamperfection's list. Why randomly question some town read, that turned out to be correct? Like Alakaslam already pointed out, there's also some weird jokish stuff in there that looks bad. Joke about being scum, another joke about being scum. The general attitude of his filter is one of not giving a fuck. I was being very negative and despairing about our prospects of even lynching anyone with all these lurking people around and then his answer was lol maybe we can't agree either. Just a carefree "We probably can't lynch and we probably can't agree" and still he's doing nothing for town. Seems like he's not bothered at all about this. I also somewhat randomly asked him about why he wasn't voting ObiWanShinobi yesterday and his answer was "Haven't seen a good case". It wasn't a curious investigative "Why you asking about ObiWanShinobi?", it wasn't a boisterous "Because he's totally town!", it wasn't anything,, it was simply a declaration that once he sees a good case on him, he will vote him, along with an apology in case there had been one he had not noticed. In the end he makes a throwaway vote on ExO_, even saying in his own vote (and earlier in the game) that he doesn't have much reason to think that ExO_ is even scum. Also the wording of the vote "I'm going to put up a vote" seems like it's something he thinks is a big deal but if a townie thinks his vote is a big deal there's going to be a case or a push or whatever. He's not even attempting to drum up support for it, it looks way too much like a throwaway vote. All in all, he looks really scummy. He hardly takes a stance on anything, he's not trying to involve himself in the happenings of the game, he seems carefree about what he thinks is a bad state of town and he does this nervous joking around and a throwaway vote. ##Vote Damdred | ||

corazon is in a bad position in the thread nails a super powered scum role n1 before it does anything claims it for confirmed town suicides ive been absent and drinking might just post my notes and peace out though it might be a bit unclear | ||

I logged on and was told to vote ObiWan, so what did i do? I went and read his filter then i scanned the thread to see if any good cases had been made. He was just a lurker at that point mostly and I didn't see any reason to vote him at that time. However now it makes me look scummy. Earlier I didn't think anything about Exo screamed scum, but I know how Exo plays and it fit in with how he generally played as a scum when I have played with him before when i looked at his filter. However he looks much better after the vote on ObiWan which makes me look worse to. Which sucks to be honest. And well the jokeing thing yea it does make me look scummy and I admit I hate doing it in other places because I do feel like it clutters up the game a good bit. Being my first game here and not knowing anyone but a person was a bit difficult to get into the thread a bit which i'll try to do better job of during this day and take a stand but it might be to late at this point. I'm a towny so it will be a mislynch which stinks for the town but if I go hopefully some good voteing patterns will be determined. | ||
