marv has such a ridiculous amount pull in the thread that if he dies, town is either going to be left in a ridiculously shitty position or is going to lose immediately. we need more people to step up and take control, because nothing happened at all until he showed up to the thread and everything that happened thereafter was based on reads made off of one or two posts. we need to focus on four things: a) pressuring the people who were off both wagons. b) pushing our reads within reason c) looking to understand where other players are coming from instead of just looking for opportunities to attack each other. d) playing the game. nobody really played well yesterday, and its not much of a surprise that we missed. im as willing to take the blame as any other player here who voted haru. i see a lot of people just sitting around, posting their reads and then doing precisely nothing with them/bickering with their scumread for pages upon pages. im playing like shit too, but i want to step up and do some things. we are hitting both extremes of the spectrum, and we need to focus on what were doing wrong in order to make sure we dont miss like that again. if people want to stop playing and just do nothing, thats fine. mafia is likely hiding in the day 2 inactives/lazies because nobody did anything until the last second, and everyone seems to be totally fine with that. players that know better should also be under scrutiny for doing nothing/next to nothing and having town be totally fine with that. if you have nothing but excuses for doing nothing, then we lynch you/vig you because youre wasting a slot and making this impossible to play. we really, really need to consolidate and understand where people are coming from too, before we hit 10 minutes before deadline. this is especially important for the people who are bickering at each other all game, since nobody but marv has any kind of following in the thread because people are either doing fuck all or just tunneling the shit out of each other. im sure ill have some more stuff to say about the state of the town and what we can do to fix it tomorrow, but i cant think of anything else right now. call me out on whatever if you want/need to, but town is in kind of a weird spot in my opinion. tldr: that was a bad lynch. lots of votes were useless. practically the only votes that wound up being useful were marv's and basically every single player that sheeped marv. i was about 10 seconds away from voting wrong too, so im holding myself accountable as well. (also in hindsight i shouldve posted this during the day so i could follow it up with being more active, but w/e) im sure holyflare already harped on it like 5 billion times since hes king purge-the-inactives but what he's saying holds true. | ||

I kinda also really want to hit scum because then we are insanely ahead. Unlike Mr. Doomthinker Obiwan is claiming we still have 2 misslynches left because the d1 scumlynch. I am going to believe scum has a janitor and a vigi. So worst case 5 town die tonight. But after that there should be only 2 nk every night (I think we got a docsave n1). Till we lynch 2 scummers. Then we will have another ml into lylo. Like, consolidation is all fun and stuff, but moving around near the deadline is never bad. As long as the biggest wagon ends up with +50% of the votes. That's the only thing that matters. Also, Mr. Obiwan should be scumhunting instead of telling town how to play. We know how to play mafia. Your general guidelines are not needed here. I checked your D2 play and it was utter shit. Weekends aren't great for anybody but please look at yourself first and others after. Pick up your own play first. I promise I will shoot you if you go post another guideline post. There were so many cases on D2 and you decided to do nothing with them. | ||
