Well, you should know that activity is a big tell 
Regarding point number 2, it seems to me yesterday that a lot of people wanted to lynch Slam or gumshoe by default, and would have been glad to welcome a nice case on Hopeless. I think Toad is perfectly able to push a lynch, and I'm expecting town Toad to argue his Hopeless lynch against rayn lynch.
So that's why he didn't push it enough for my liking. Town was looking for scum yesterday, and for example I feel right now I couldn't stop rayn lynch because of the lack of credible alternatives. A policy lynch on Slam or gumshoe was less attractive...
