Night 3

It was somber this day. Too many deaths had caused too pain much for those still alive. With nothing else to do, everyone began reminiscing about those gone. Story after story was told, but something wasn’t right. River didn’t seem to be making sense. She was contradicting things she said earlier and didn’t have a good explanation for it. Suspicions mounted. Someone grabbed the Anti-Cyber Gun. It was unanimous. She couldn’t be River. She had to be a Cyberman. The gun was fired.

I wonder if all the mafia roles are cybermen related and the townie sounding ones are fake claims? So I guess this means he was original scum and not converted after all?

Nice! The only is problem is this says nothing baout conversion in his role. So they did start with at least 2. Time to check out day 1 filter stuff for kush.

I just read kush's filter, and I've come away with it with the opposite opinion I did during D3.. tbh I think kush's filter mostly clears kita, at least for D1. In my big post on kush I mentioned that kush's #1 scum meta tell is that he comes across as super confident. This is because he likes being able to give correct reads because it is easy to do so as mafia. Kush likng to buss is a subset of that, it's all part of kush wanting to sound smart, look good after flips, and the fact that it's easy for him as mafia to give the thread a correct read.

So all that stuff he wrote about kita fits pretty well with how I'd expect kush to act when he's giving a correct read.

Yes that meta is based on complete assumption.

Yeah the last paragrpah is bad and awkward. But the awkwardness doesn't have to implicate kita, it could just be scummy awkwardness on kush's part. The first two paragraphs are what I was talking about at the start of this post. He sound oh so confident, you can just tell that he is taking secret delight in being able to give a well thought out read and correct read. Kush just likes being right as scum. It's his main meta tell. And the read I get from all the stuff he wrote about kita during D1 is that kush is "being right as scum."

So I don't think kita is mafia, at least not during D1. So did kush lie to us about kita's alignment?

Eh. If kush lied about it then he would be implicating himself or kita should the other one be lynched. I don't think that's very likely to happen, especially considering how far ahead scum was. It's not like they needed to pull of anything crazy. I refuse to go into all the wifom that kush wants us to go into, I think the explanation I just gave is the most likely explanation.

So I guess I think kita is town after all!

I think I have to make the call by this evening (within the next 8 hours) because I'll be asleep 12 hours from now. I need to read filters for a bit before I make a call, and let's be honest, Austin probably has a better chance at calling the shot correctly so I wouldn't even mind sheeping him on the target.

I want to at least go back through, though, since we now know kush is scum from d1 because

When someone changes alignment, they will know they changed alignment. When people die, they will flip their current role and alignment. They will also flip any previous role(s) and alignment(s) that they had, but you won't know when they changed role(s) and alignment(s).

This hopefully will make the case on kita look stronger/weaker because we know it's possible kush converted kita, but not that kita converted kush.
