Onegu, I'm rooting for you, man. I've lived most of my life missing bits of intestines and spleen. I know they're taking more than that out of you, but medicine and surgery have advanced so much since I had my own op so many years ago. So I know you're going to be just fine. Here's a fun game for you if you haven't tried before -- try to fight the anaesthetist and refuse to go beddybye. You'll lose anyway, but it's fun! And make sure you track down your anaesthetist afterwards and thank them properly. They're so underappreciated -- the surgeon may be the one fixing you, but the anaesthetist is the guardian of your life -- before, during, and after the surgery. They're so invisible most of the time -- but don't forget them -- they are no less important than the surgeon. As an adult with knowledge of how things work, I look back at my anaesthetist, she was so amazing. It was tremendous to have her be there for a frightened 6.5 year old boy. And I really appreciate her in hindsight. It's too late for me to track down my anaesthetist. So I'm telling you my story, so that you can pay it forward for me. Go the extra mile for me and my anaesthetist -- make sure you thank yours. It will really make their day. Be strong and take care. I'll be waiting for you in the "missing bits" clubroom.

Thanks Surgery is in about Yeah I always fight the anesthesia. I have won once. They looked back at me and were like why arent you asleep. But that wasnt really true anesthesia but a mix of Pain meds, Nausea meds, and sleeping meds for a 30 minute procedure. And yeah I know how important anesthesiologists are I have already met the anesthesiologist and my surgeron. My surgeon is a cocky little shit and the anesthesiologist was layed back.

I've tried and failed twice. A win is a win man. And yeah I know how important anesthesiologists are I have already met the anesthesiologist and my surgeron Figures, things work differently when you're and adult rather than a kid. [edit: deleted. Onegu has seen it. Good enough. I am an idiot.] All the best. <3
