Can someone give me a condensed version of why I should claim? I'm honestly finding the claim talk kind of scummy. Isn't that giving scum more information about how to aim their KP? Trade off is we can as a group decide how to use roles, but that lets scum stay ahead of us and know how to direct their stuff again. We don't know all the roles abilities, I know mine had an interesting twist, so what about role claiming punisher roles? I brought it up earlier and I still think it's relevant. | ||

Reads as you don't want everyone's input on role actions, you just want to know where the things are being aimed. 3) Except mafia can also help direct claimed town so... 4) Right now? Find the mass claim plan to be pro-scum not pro-town. I wouldn't mind role-claiming myself, since my role will be very evident shortly, but I don't think other people should. | ||

If I have my vote on someone I think is pretty likely to be mafia, and another dude comes into the thread at a later point and agrees with my read (with somewhat different reasons as well as similar ones) and pushes that dude to influential players like sandroba, my instinct is not going to be "huh, this guy is suspicious, keep an eye on him!". It's odd. | ||
