One of the things that bothered me about jay earlier is that this doesn't feel honest to me. I can fall into the paranoid town trap pretty easily; I don't think this is real paranoia. When paranoid townies tend to derail, there's a very obsessive quality to it. Additionally, paranoia tends to spiral in drastic and crazy directions. What's really odd about it to me is that he both 'forgot to send in his numbers' despite being pro-"everyone should state their numbers" but additionally that he's not at all concerned with what/who marv chose. If I were that paranoid about Marv being scum, my #1 concern would've been getting a higher slot than Marv and trying to figure out what he would've taken so that he couldn't get it. Being a newb (or hasn't played much) I'd expect very different spins from him and I'm not really liking how lackadaisical he's been about his "concerns/FOS about Marv" without that really carrying into any other aspect of his game. Feels like a random newb card to me. | ||

It's pretty worrying that literally no other wagon has formed or been pushed by anyone since we started on bum. Everyone kinda just hopped on. I don't really know how much of that is a byproduct of the fact that the early voters are all highly influential players (sandroba, marv, Mig) and what mafia would be actually doing if bum is mafia. Maybe they just can't do anything. | ||

i don't believe bum is scum i also don't believe it's wise to lynch one of our most experienced and logical members on d1 without solid proof that he's mafia, which i don't think we have. i took my vote off of JonnyLaw as my mistake in pick order understanding was pointed out and i no longer believe JonnyLaw to be lying about his pick order numbers. i think put my vote onto LSB in order to take some pressure off of bum. i now have a good read on someone that i believe is scum. there is no chance this person will be lynched today so i will save my case for tomorrow. i do ask that you take your votes off of bum though (even knowing what little water my request will hold) also, we can drop the roffles telling me to die thing. i sincerely appreciate the sentiments, but i don't really give a damn; i know he meant it in a non-abrasive way (if that makes any sense). no need to further clutter up the thread with it. just roffles being roffles. | ||

If he's that concerned about Marv being scum (that's practically his only discussion) then I don't see why he wouldn't concern himself with trying to get that role. Yes, it's seems ridiculous to normal rational thinking, but you also have to remember that paranoia is by definition irrational. The fact that he isn't being irrational really bugs me. As far as thinking rayn is or might be scum, honestly I have not clue. There's no way he gets lynched today so there's a real point in me trying to get an assessment on him in any regard right now. | ||
