Of course. As I said, I failed to convince the others. Although I would have wished that geript would not have ignored me so often. But I probably should have insisted stronger.

looking for thoughts re: the setup also. I like the idea of jester+scum+2vt+unlynchable, specifically because of the possibility of unlynchable claim shenannies

Setup wise. I liked it...it's lonely playing scum solo from start though

Well I mean part of the hilarity is that the presence of the jester combined with the unlynchable VT means it's reasonable for scum OR jester to claim lynchproof. The best part is a 1-1-1 day 2, where both the town and scum player's optimal play is to claim scum and try to convince the jester to lynch the other guy for a joint scum+jester victory.
PS thinking just a warning for hapa. He was obviously around and interested in the game, and was trying to play low-activity jester (which failed horribly), but ultimately being forced to modkill him made the game worse. If anyone has input on this we can chat in the ban list thread.

No you have to view it from an objective standpoint.
If I'm scum, I'm free to kill either Mocsta or Oats. Neither of which is particularly damning.
If Oats is scum, he NKs, Mocsta or myself.
If Mocsta is scum, it's 50/50 to kill you or Oats (there's no real gain to kill me).
But if Phagga is scum, he really needs to kill me as I'm far less damning to him than Mocsta.
So the situation where Oats dies and I'm town is specifically odd because its a huge Wifom risk coming from you.
More than anything else, I think your odd case strategies did you in. Nothing that you focused on was important IMO. The best points (what I quoted to Moc) were Wifom.

I get the whole best play for Nk Geript.. but I think that type of stuff is relatively easy to wifom out of..
I was considering killing phagha and then trying to get oats to lynch u..playing the whole... Scum framed me my killing phagha card
Main reason I killed oats was not because he was universal townie..but because his vote was not predictable at all.
I guess we all view the game differently.. which is what makes solving the game interesting.

As for bh and the shennanies of day2.. I get that can work.. but not with the crop of players we had...ppl like Geript/oats were too townie. No way jester would believe counter claim...also the sharedwin makes the game somewhat easier in. My opinion.. in fact I was annoyed hapa died because I was banking on him for shared win con.

That's null for me entirely. You were town for me by process of elimination. Phagga's reactions read to me as if he had to think and analyze how best to respond instead of acting instinctively (which ironically was right). It was too much that he was trying to look town instead of being town.
As for kill Wifom, that's why I ended up ignoring it. Phagga looked more like scum to me and wifoming and dragging it out wouldn't I don't think have changed the decision unless you slipped really bad.
As for the insta-claim plan, the only way it fails IMO is if there are no unlynchable claims. That line of play takes all of the pressure off scum/jester to figure out how to respond. I'm not quite sure why it wasn't obvious to Oats/phagga immediately. I still caught you by the green/horny line. Oh we'll, I could've corrected at the end.

It's not a bad line, but that's not how you'd put it as town. You could use that same phrase, but you'd do it differently... That's all I can explain.

But yeah, sorry about the modkill - I forgot that the game was on a 24 hour post rule as opposed to a 48. Needless to say I wasn't expecting to win the game, but I should have been more aware of the rules D=

The reason why I didnt claim unlynchable is because I was in no danger of being lynched and claiming unlynchable wouldve meant I was shot n1 definitely so there was really no point.
