Is all this discussion of decryption in the thread really necessary? Can't you just us it when you're talking specifically to one another and not most of the time, in general? Or is that exactly what you are doing? I think it makes you both probably town to explain how it works but it also invalidates the entire purpose of the encryption, does it not?
