1 that was kind of a panic vote, i had a big thing to do outside of mafia and didn't think i'd have any time at all for like 24 hours but luckily the problem wasn't as big as i feared. i also didn't know how prolonged deadlines would work out, if host would just end it or give us a short deadline or whatever and i didn't want a no lynch so wos got a vote.
2 nobody reacted to my observation on axle but people voted all sorts of other things, i wanted to hear why everybody was actively ignoring axle. later, i was referring to this post axle town read
3 ace and axle my biggest scum reads at the time with a trailing wos. axle since the beginning of the game and his filter since then just seemed like he was really disconnected with the game and he didn't care about lynch or anything at all. seemed like he was perfectly happy being the weird kid that everybody was ignoring. ace because of his weird trap thing that made absolutely no sense and still doesn't make any sense. palmar has it right that ace sometimes do these things but i also know that ace can find scum on day1 in a rather spectacular fashion if he just puts his mind to it but he didn't do anything at all. yes, i could have put my vote on ace but i put it on axle.

i know i said "some people have town reads on axle" and i'm only mentioning one post now and i don't know for sure if i can mention another post because i don't know if there were actually more than one guy with a town read on axle at that point, but the idea i got from the thread was that people didn't actually see axle as scum at all. didn't you also see axle as town for the first part of d1?

i guess my gut was favoring axle while my brain favored ace and my gut won and my brain lost. i also remember that i felt like getting a lynch soon would be a good idea so it wouldn't just fizzle out. no lynch is bad.

if i said that to oats then i might have been mixing stuff together and thinking that later explicit town reads on axle came before that particular post where i asked why axle is town. i wasn't correct if i said that to oats
"can anybody tell me why axle is town?" wasn't at all aimed at somebody particular and didn't require any town reads on axle, explicit or otherwise. it was simply to get people to focus on axle more because he had been pretty much ignored by everybody up until then. i might as well just have said "hey, how does people feel about the stuff i said about axle?"

i might also have been exaggerating people's town reads on axle because i was upset with how he was being ignored.

i'm not planning on posting anything substantial about my reads before the flip. alluded to this earlier as well. if you're really planning on pushing me on this for hours and hours then i'm eventually going to tell you that i don't really have any scum reads right now.

how about the first point, i'm pretty sure i could point out more than nothing in palmar's filter that shows that he has given shit about anything this game.

well just to mention one thing (which disproves you "nothing" hypothesis), he voted for and pushed axle when him and marv were on ace and marv was pushing ace hard.

WoS just seems crazy considering that both his scum buddies pushed him even though tunkeg pretty much didn't have to and axle could do whatever the hell he wanted since he was acting crazy anyway. he also ended up being the last vote for one of them. like marv said, lets consider someone else first.

WoS because then he would have been pushed by his two scumbuddies who had no reason to do this. it's very unlikely and i'm going to follow marv's advice not to consider crazy conspiracy theories
so it's rayn, palmar, oats
rayn's early game looks quite different from red prize where i think he was a lot more composed. it would be a crazy gamble do suddenly go with this hugely spammy style in this game. his style doesn't feel feigned at all though and he gives reads all over the place. i also think he's put in a good deal of effort.
so it's palmar or oats.
i don't actually care much who we lynch of these two guys. i didn't read oats because marv said he was town but i should really reevaluate since a lot of thing happened since marv said that. so yea.
palmar's performance has been lacklustre but meh, people have bad games. i think the most useful information comes around the axle vote switch. i initially thought he played a bigger part in it but rereading it looks worse. rayn is right that both him and me showed signs that we were most likely to vote axle right before palmar vote change. oats already pointed this out but palmar changed his opinion on axle very fast.
from here it looks the worst. palmar says that he doesn't want to lynch axle twice in two minutes. then rayn makes a big post about how he doesn't like marv's notes on axle being town and i make a post where i start changing my focus from ace to axle. suddenly palmar changed his vote. the way i remembered it was that palmar helped the lynch much more earlier on but rereading it looks like he's just reacting to how the thread is turning rapidly against a lurker.
palmar's first big analysis post also looks off to me. he is clearly favoring both tunkeg and axle more than he should. tunkeg is labeled as a lurker he can't say anything about and ace as someone who hasn't done anything to show his alignment, but for some reason he still says he'd lynch ace over tunkeg. it's the same with axle, he's labeled as a weird chezinuish poster that palmar can't read, but somehow he is leaning town on him? later it's even worse when axle is suddenly quite towny. palmar says that he cannot read axle but yet he keeps pushing the idea that axle is looking towny right up until the point where he is suddenly on three votes with me and rayn changing our opinion.
in his vote post palmar again says that he has no idea how to read axle. palmar just doesn't seem like a guy who would repeatedly push the idea that axle is town when he has no idea how to read him.

this here is really weird to me, if he just wants to lynch someone, then why not the person that he cannot read?
also after the lynch he makes this post where he obviously has some idea that he needs to reconsider everything and come up with something new. he has no idea how long it will take so obviously it's a big project. yet his next contribution is this post "i actually think oats might be the best lynch today", that post didn't take 2 minutes to come up with and write. doesn't look at all like the big contribution he obviously had in mind when he said he'd reevaluate.
palmar also does townie things though, the "lets hammer axle fast i want a flip before i go to bed" thing looked very townie to me (scum obviously don't care about flips) and the hanging around after the lynch anyway to help figure things out.
i honestly haven't a clue but i'm 85% sure that palmar is the best idea today. i'll read up on oats and post some more tomorrow.
