I tried using that workstation last game but it kind of was kind of annoying to use, having to set the current hand eveey single time i open it. Might as well just do it manually this game

Shit just got real IRL. I gave crossfire a deck idea which I think is pretty sweet if a little suicidal :D Sorry about this guys :/ I really liked the deck I built, too. So just change the OP from the Risen/Cross hydra to just Cross.

What is a Magic Workstation compatible format? I am almost certain that the textual cardlist I sent by PM does not qualify, but what does? Do I have to download the trial version of that program?

Oop, forgot a second question: are we allowed to mulligan if we don't like our starting hand?

MWS is a free MTG client with a database for deckbuilding, and it includes a module for 1v1s online.

I think it'd add unnecessary complexity, especially with time zones and stuff. Once the game starts, it'd be nice to just hit the ground running.

Sure, why not? I would hate to be forced to play an all-land/no-land hand, and I wouldn't particularly enjoy other players getting flooded/screwed without an option to mulligan, either.
