I know Chrom I was looking at that as well but I don't have a scum read on Shz at all. The only way I could see Shz as being mafia atm would be if he lied about getting rb'd and tried to defend me because he knows I'm about to flip town. The case he made though was pretty well thought out in my defense and I don't think mafia would really care if I get lynched D2 anyway. It gives them a good lead.

This is why I don't think there is a reasom to believe Omni is scum.

If Omni was scum, he could have switched off to avoid suspicion at being on the major wagon, or maybe he switched off because he doesn't care who is lynched. I talked about this in my case, perhaps you should read it again.

I do not understand how we are considering lynching lurkers (threesr/Orange) over the very scummy players in this game. Read the cases I've posted (Omni, shz) and ask yourself for the town and scum motivation. The scum motivation is rampant. Read the case on Orange and ask yourself for motivation. There is no scum motivation. Why would we lynch lurkers over scum?

Some words in my defence:

If I was scum, why should I not go the safe road and wait until a wagon established? If I just want to lynch anyone, I could have waited until later and then cast my deciding vote.

Most of the arguments here are no real arguments (not just against me, most of the cases).
If someone does A, you will accuse him of being scum, and asking why they did not do B. But if they do B you will accuse him of being scum, and asking why they did not do B. You make cases against players and then against the people who agreed your arguments and voted for that person. But if they don't follow it, you will question that too. See what my problem is? The actions don't matter in your type of arguments. It's your gut-feeling looking for confirmation and finding it everywhere. We had hours of discussion because someone had a typo and "said" he was scum. What. The. Fuck?

Please be less emotional and look for patterns instead of weird wording or typos. If anything, over-emotional-posts help scum. Rationality can help us.

Let's examine the possibilities:

Omni and shz:
Omni knows for certain that he is town. He thinks shz is town, but is not sure. Obviously, he would rather lynch shz over himself, because shz at least has a chance of flipping scum.

The point is not surviving, but winning. If you lynch me and town still wins, great. I don't care for survival, but I care to win. And if you will end up lynching me, town is one town more down.

I can't say for sure that Omni will not flip scum, but I don't think so. And you are getting pretty bold with your "100%" read (the same thing Omni want people lynched for).

Seriously, the only other reason that he might not vote for you in that circumstance is because he's WIFOM bombing us hardcore. That's a terrible move strategically though, and it's unlikely in the face of the other associations.

Looks like shz's not getting lynched today, might as well consolidate to prevent any shenanigainry:

1) I flip town, Shz is cleared, and Chrom doesn't know what to do anymore considering he's going to look like scum.

As I already said Shz he's already given lurkers a full 72 hours to continue lurking because of what he did today. He's just tunneled hard but I think he's town. When I flip town it'll be too late to do much about lurkers. You can't lynch somebody because they don't post on D3 because you should have more information than that available. I think Orange is the easiest case to make from all of this personally.

Well, neither Omni nor Shz have done much of any searching for information with their posts this game. Ordinarily, I'd call this a pretty good scumtell. Unfortunately, I think they share this characteristic in greater or lesser degree with more than half the players here :/

But, to summarise my thoughts (besides the above) on each of them:

Omni's VT claim is really quite fishy. Seems almost too obvious, but the simplest solution is generally the best.

Shz's behaviour in general (wanting to lynch based only on information gained, that list post back a page or two) rubs me the wrong way.

Orangeremi hasn't made any whoopsies like these but he's lurked a lot harder.

Threesr has been Threesr. Maybe we'll get really, really lucky and he'll be scum, forget to vote, and get modkilled today. I can dream

FatChunk hasn't posted much at all, but he has committed to stuff a little more.

Sylencia has been MIA most of the game. Really not impressed with his performance day 2, when he said he'd be free.

Kickstart likewise hasn't done a whole lot, but he has pressured a little.

And looking at that list, my choice is fairly clear.

The difference between Omni and the rest of that list is basically the VT claim. I don't like it at all. And I don't think there's a mind looking for scum behind his play.

You did not mention most of the players in your posts. Care to share your opinion on Chroma, Omni, Orange, Syl, cake, and Aqua?

Do you have a reason for the lack of contributions so far? Especially since you claimed "lurking is bad". Do you think it would be okay to lynch you for that? 2 Days and and Night passed, while you are still on your first page of contributions.

Who is your top 3 scum, who your top 3 town?
