Jaybrundage was a bit of an unlucky man. He got fired from his job as airship engineer for stealing pens, which he in fact didn't do. When he got home he found his neighbour in bed with his wife. And, to add insult to injury, he stubbed his toe on the doorstep as he stormed out of the house in a foul mood. Altogether, he just needed to get away from it all. He withdrew his savings and booked a trip on the Airship "Ironia Dramatica", leaving that very afternoon. The rest, so to speak, is history. Jaybrundage fell in with the wrong people. In particuar, he shouted that VisceraEyes was a jolly good fellow and definitely not one of them agenty blokes the passengers are hunting. He even had the math to prove it! Early in the morning of the fourth day, Jaybrundage was arrested on suspicion of being an Agent. He protested a bit; all he had wanted was a cruise to forget about it all. He was no agent, he was being set up! Despite this, the ending of the fourth day on the airship was a foregone conclusion. The only real question was how he would be put to death. Vivax absentmindedly started clawing his own face in anticipation of the massacre, but in the end, none of it mattered. When the self-styled jailors came to fetch him, they found that Jaybrundage had strung himself up by his shoelaces. Jaybrundage, Vanilla Townie was lynched. It is now night. You know the drill. | ||
