I don't know how you find that scummy.. you can at most find it bad, but if you ask me it shows more that I actually tried going more in-depth than not. Also, I could have very very easily hammered him much earlier on, there was another time earlier in the day where he still had like four votes. Why would I firstly express doubt on his lynch, try to talk to people about it, etc. Only to hammer him in the way that I did later on? Seems silly to me, as scum... just look at how easily iamp voted him and got away with it (no one was gnawing at him). As a townie it shows that I'm invested and do not just want to casually vote for him. Also, why the hell did I need to say anything? Is adding him in my top scum list out of nowhere not the same as adding him saying "yea I agree with his case and think he's scum". That's just what townies love hearing but really makes no difference... | ||

And if you had been scum, hammering him earlier would have been risky. Town was obviously still talking and discussing things, and a hammer at that point would have likely been seen as trying to shut down discussion. I assume you can see where that would have been bad scum play, and why hammering when you did would have made much more sense. And, you were talking about wanting to improve on your "towniness". Other townies want to hear about people having massive reads changes and some kid f justification for them. It's simple as hell to just plop down a name. People want to hear your thought process and why the read changed, so that they can make a judgement on your sincerity. Sorry if you thought my post was bashing you, though. That was totally not my intention. I just wanted to give you some constructive criticism to think about to go along with your personal goal of improving how you are perceived as town. I think you're a solid player overall and an asset to either team. <3 | ||

If I were scum and wanted to lynch him, the last thing I'd do is feel like I have to over-justify. I also could have put down the 3rd or fourth vote when a couple of people unvoted him. I dunno, I know it felt like I was over-justifying, but my timeline in regards to v7 doesn't make much sense to me being scummy. If I, as scum, felt that I didn't need to justify why I added him to my scum list, that same mentality would be enough to give him hsi 3rd or 4th vote. | ||

Some suggestions would be to not sheep so hard/be wishy-washy and don't be afraid to take a stance and stick to it even if everyone thinks you're wrong. I stick to things all the time. Even when people think I am being Retarded. (even if they say it nicely <3 Austin) Also I don't think outing the medic was that big a deal. (OFC it was bad but in the grand scheme of things) I stopped looking at draz as a serious candidate after that and due to the small amount of players and how townie everyone was looking it really narrowed the suspects down with draz out of the picture, also meant that scum would have to use a shot on him and hapa would be alive longer to tear them apart. I would rather scummy draz make a save and then have to get shot than waste a lynch on him. meh. | ||

Right, but what I was saying is that I would want to pressure him into claiming fully. If he is scum that gives him less wiggle room and makes sure that mafia know he is medic (in case the mafia is one of those lurky/don't-read-the-thread types). | ||
