Because I find it extremely unlikely that prplhz as town would ever try to lynch sandroba like that on day 1. And the fact that he tries to act as if his vote switch onto ON after kush had already declared he was going to put his votes and the votes he got from austin on ON makes him town. He is smart and knows better than that.

This makes no sense.

I actually DO think that the potato will blow up before 24 hours. Moreover, the fact that you're talking about the "chance" that it blows up before 24, which implies there's a distribution of likelihoods when the potato will blow up, means that you don't have control.

You have the potato. The potato is control over a PORTION of the lynch, the target, but not control over the lynch itself, target + timing.

granted, you control the lynch for the next two hours. why don't you want people passing the potato around and creating content? are you really that confident that the potato is going to explode in hours 24-26 and not before that you don't want to pass around until then? because if it doesn't and i'm scum then we'll end up in that situation anyway. you're killing the first 24 hours so that you might have a wildly speculated chance of killing me instantly. i mean just giving it to me will create content because i promised that i wouldn't even give it away so it's going to be fun to see if i actually keep my word but you're just doing nothing and for pretty much no reason.

anyway, if i don't have the potato then i'm glad you do because you're scum

the reason i want it is because i'm townie and i trust myself and people are hating on me anyway. if any townie should blow up it should probably be me (although i have no idea why since i believe i switched lynch from townie to scum last night with 2 mins left).

There's a good chance, but I feel better about prplhz being scum. When someone who is playing in their first game appears nervous and says dumb stuff, it could just be because they're new.

fact is that we have no more than 50% chance of killing scum today even if we are perfectly aware who it is. the absolute best thing we can do with the potato is pass it around or make somebody we think is scum hold it. so either pass it or give it to me.

Okay thrawn2112 experience doesn't matter or anything, you lynch who is scum. If sandroba is scum then we will just spend tomorrow doing the exact same thing and if he is town we might just end up doing that too. OriginalName is town because it's town like to be completely absent. Scum feel more of a responsibility to their team and that makes them show up and do something, anything, not showing up is more townie like. Of course he could just be out of interwebs but then he's going to die anyway.

sandroba is a good lynch because he is scummy. You are saying it yourself so I don't even have to convince you of this. And you lynch scummy people over people who aren't scummy. Imagine you lynch OriginalName and he flips town like you think he might just do, then we find out sandroba is scum. Why didn't you lynch sandroba? That's why you have to lynch who you think is scum.

So gogogo lynch sandroba.
