Prove that you're town, don't just sheep our votes and then place the "blame" for the lynch in our hands. Your post makes it sound like you're still unsure. I assume that means you think that Node and I are almost equally scummy still, but you're going with what marv and I have decided. You haven't explained any of your actions today aside from what I see as incorrect reasoning regarding a no-lynch. Why did you vote Node, why do you see me as scummy, and why do you seem so indifferent as to who gets lynched? | ||

I expect a response from Hopeless1der and I'd like to hear marv's thoughts as well. I can't trust Node's words if he's scum nor his reasoning if he's town, so I don't really care much what he says at this point. | ||

As for my 2 minute 'explanation' Marv is asleep afaik. I know I'm town. I doubt you guys swap to Marv, but you can't anymore because of plurality lynch. I'm not clear on who's scummier between you and Node. Marv forced my hand by voting Node. Doesn't really matter, I had a really busy day at work (still here btw) so I wouldn't have come up with a read either way. That was part of the reason I wanted to No-Lynch. My "indifference" is guaranteeing that Marv and me CANNOT be lynched based on the voting mechanics, and I think Marv is town (and again, know I'm town). Unless Marv is still awake, there is nothing that can be done to stop this lynch anymore. (Unless Kira can in fact shoot us whenever the hell he feels like it) | ||

You say that the likely outcome is us losing. Why would a townie vote in a way he thinks will make him lose?!? You don't even say "unless Node is Kira, we've lost the game". This sounds like a Kira victory speech more than an explanatory post. Marv are you up? What do you think about this? | ||

Kira's supporters had been found and dealt with, but Kira himself had yet to be found. The remaining detectives knew that Kira was close, he was here, but he had yet to make a mistake. An unnerving thought ran through their heads. How could Kira be so good at evading Japan's top detectives? Even the legendary L was no match for his mysterious killing power. The remaining few gathered together, mostly silently, and tried to come up with a way to fill the void left by L, and find Kira. Each detective looked through the discussions that all the other days wrought. Each one looked at the others' habits, choice of words, whom they decided to kill, anything to give a subtle hint as to who the killer was. Marvellosity was the first to come to a conclusion. "It has to be Node. Look at all he's done! You all must trust me, L would not have named me his successor if he did not trust my judgement!" Nodding his head in agreement, Hopeless1der agreed. Mkfuba07, tried to reason with the 2, but the deed was decided. Node was to be executed, the gathered were so conviced that he was Kira. Marvellosity pointed his pistol at Node's head, and shot. Node was executed. However, upon searching his body, there was discovered a small slip of paper. Mkfuba07 read it aloud. "You have made your mistake. You will never find me. I am Justice. I will bring the wicked to their end. I... am Kira." As the green blood pooled around Node, the remaining detectives let out their anguished cries of frustration. Node, the Detective was Lynched! Flip: + Show Spoiler + You are a Detective! You are one of the best detectives in the world and you have been invited to solve the mistery of the century: the Kira case. According to the anonymous-best-detective-ever, Head Investigator L, Kira is a real person and is hiding between you. Your job is to find and eliminate him. You win when all threats to the Detectives(and the world) are eliminated. | ||

In their heads, they knew that Kira would not be brought to justice, that they had failed themselves, Japan, and the world. Kira had won. mkfuba, Hopeless1der, and Marvellosity all went their separate ways. They did not know when their time would come, but the actual detectives knew that Kira would dispose of them shortly, and that it would not be pleasant. mkfuba left the office room and went to the bath houses. If he was to die, he would make sure to die clean. As he stripped down and headed to the baths, he had a feeling in the back of his head that this was the place he would meet his end. He heard the door open again, several people he couldn't see entering the bath house and locking the door behind them. Closing his eyes, he resigned himself to his fate. Several Thai gangsters found their way to him, and had their way with him. Their unnatural stamina and fierce poundings was too much for him to take. They disposed of him in a bathtub, filled with not water, but a more sticky, viscous substance. He was fully alive after the men were done with him, but he could not move at all, and promptly drowned, green blood oozing from the side of his mouth. mkfuba07, the Detective Successor N drowned in a tub of seed! Hopeless1der, however, went to his office. For a reason he couldn't explain, he felt that his answers would be there. Upon entering, he noticed a small book upon his table. Recognizing what it was, the Death Note, he felt sick to his stomach. Slowly, he walked over to the book, and opened it up to its current page. In it, he saw all of the names of his fellow detectives that died in mysterious ways. His face lost all color when he read the last two names in the list, mkfuba, and his own! "How is this possible? I should be dead!" he said nervously to himself. Upon closer inspection, he saw that his name was mispelled. Hopelessoneder was written. "I must have been saved by N!" exclaimed Hopeless1der. "You... You should be dead." a slow, cold, calculating voice said behind him. Before turning around, he already knew who it was. Kira. Or as he knew him, Marvellosity. "It seems that you have been misinformed about me" Said Hopeless. "It matters not. What matters is that this pathetic gathering of incompetent detectives is finally dealt with, and his grand noble pain in the ass 'Head Detective L' is FINALLY out of my way. I am now free to deal my justice across all of Japan... no, the WORLD! I am now a GOD! MUHAHHAHAAAAHAHA!" Hopeless stared at this lunatic that called himself Kira. He had to stop him. Looking around while Marvellosity was distracted, he found his katana. Grabbing it, he lunged at Kira, determined to destroy him before he could cause any more harm. "YOU WILL PAY FOR WHAT YOU'VE DONE!!" Yelled Hopeless1der! Quicker than his eyes could see, Marvellosity dodged out of the way of Hopeless' charge, and stabbed him clean through the back. As he coughed up green blood, he knew that he was finished. Quietly, without moving from his killing blow, Marvellosity wispered to Hopeless. "It is an honor to be slain by a god. You, who were the wicked, have now been cleansed. Go now, and rest, knowing that I shall be the one to save this world from itself. They will know a god is among them, and it is I... Kira!" Marvellosity pulled his blade out of Hopeless1der's back, leaving him to die upon the carpet. It was a disappointment to lose his worshipers, true, but now that L and his detectives were out of the way, there would be plenty of time to acquire more followers. He left, to begin his new rule over the world. Hopeless1der, the Detective, was slain in a duel! Marvellosity, as Kira, the Successor M, ruled over the world as a god! + Show Spoiler + You received the Death Note, and with its ability, you decided to lay punishment to the world, killing people who are in your way. You have a Worshiper by the name of Risen and you two are infiltrated in the investigation team that is supposed to find and kill you. You can talk with your Worshiper at any time. You know that there is a Traitor amongst the detectives, and that he is looking for you to be able to communicate with you and your ally. Every day, you may chose to Kill someone. To Kill someone, you must send a PM to ALL hosts with these informations: - Time and Date of Death(note: the time between the PM and the death cannot be inferior than 24 hours) - Cause of death(the more detailed, the better it will become the flavor for the death. Non-detailed deaths will leave it to host creativity. Flavor is just flavor). For obvious reasons, nobody will die on the first day by your hands. If you don’t send a death every day, you can send it the next day. For example, if by day 3 you didn’t kill anyone, you can kill three players on day 4. You can also “schedule” deaths this way; You can’t stop a kill from happening if it is supposed to happen before of your schedule though. You show up as Detective to investigations. You win when you plus your allies are equal or superior in numbers than the Detectives, including the Head Investigator. Mafia Victory! Thanks for playing everyone! It was a blast writing flavor for this, I hope you all enjoyed the game! | ||
