Ah, okay then. But you still led the charge on the Obvious mislynch.

Yes, of course. Anyone who knows my play knows I don't shirk responsibilities for my actions.
I made a case and pushed for BL to be lynched, but his return to the thread/reaction/spreadsheet made me think he was town. The best town player in the game (Palmar), who was also my strongest townread, thought Obvious was scum and I thought he had a decent chance of flipping scum too, so I led people off BL on to Obvious.
Of course it sucks that Obvious was town. And it's the price I paid for trying to push town to get a decent lynch that I came out of it not looking so hot.

In fact you havent commented on Djagulingu comment at all what do you think of it? All you said was that its a possible slip what is it in your view? Djagalang's explanation is here on this page, if you care to read it. My view is that a bunch of inexperienced townies leapt on a comment that wasn't a scumslip and started a bizarre wagon based off of it. Did the comment need explaining? Yes. Did the comment merit a bandwagon with hardly any time left in the day? Certainly not. So are you buying his explanation? Buying or not buying, he's explaining his reasons. Why don't you try and explain your reasons why you're buying/not buying my explanation? Why do you find it necessary to make a trap? Is it impossible for a (town) chezinu to vote for a (town) Lvdr? Checking if the guys are defending each other or not is another one of them scumtells me thinks.

Not Chezinu is back. When I was reading the thread I noticed a lack of accusations and name calling, except that provided by VE. Good work! We need to scare the mafia and make them think we are serious about lynching them and their teammates. We have to act quickly and turn mafia into a panic so that they out of desperation attempt to save their fellow mafia neglecting all long term goals by exposing themselves. I have develop techniques with my persona Chezinu to do this. Day 1 I troll for the first 24 hours goofing around and getting everyone's guard down. I play dumb and act scummy.. so scummy that scum thinks I'm an easy target and try to lynch me. Then the vets notice that it is my usual fishing methods and defend me while attacking the first one who accuses me. It is normal a mafia member who never played a game with me. However, I couldn't troll and act scummy this game because I am playing the sane game. I couldn't call obvious an obvious scum not shady a shady scum. So, I had to devise a new method to catch scum. If you don't gather reactions within the game your playing, you have to rely on others to do it for you. Or you will have to go research people's meta in past games which can be a real pain. I have decided not to do the latter. But I did not want to heavily rely on other people to get mafia to panic. So, I have come up with a plan that I cannot disclose at this time. Fear me mafia, for I have won.
PS: What are your methods to find scum? Despite claiming that Chezinu is a scumbag, this was somewhere in my mind. After calling Chezinu out, I got asked for explanations, I got bandwagoned, almost got lynched, but nobody tried to refute my case. Especially this poorly.
The last of my hesitations on Chezinu and iamperfection are gone. I now think that they are scumbags. For good.

Dj, you need to fix your tune. I don't understand why you care so much for no lynches. Why do you want no lynch so bad?

Oh and I'm loving the suspicious thanks for protecting me

Basically, if you flip green, I'll go with your some of your reads on IamP but not Chez. Both would then be guilty of sheeping rapid wagons on two consecutive townies, which is a scumtell, except in your case, IamP actually led the rapid wagon and Chez simply joined late after a perfectly legitimate excuse (hurricanes are serious business.)
That being said, though, before you became lynch target #1 on D2, Lvdr was set to be lynched. If IamP was trying to do a quick wagon on you, logic suggests he was trying to protect Lvdr. Hence if you flip green, I urge cop check on Lvdr and lynch on IamP.

Also if I die tonight there are two camps of scumminess emerging:
VE/Marv/DJ/BL
vs
IamP/Lvdr/Chez
I think the scummiest player will be Lvdr. Then IamP and Chez also deserve scrutiny. Since VE and Marv are vets, they are also dangerous since it'll be hard to lynch them. If DJ or BL come up scummy then it should be easy to agree on a lynch, so they are the least dangerous.

They're both unaligned lurkers who no one is defending.

Does the fact that no-one is defending them make it more or less likely that they're scum?

Less. Usually when a scum is about to get lynched (especially when there are still 3 scum in the game) there's quite a bit of resistance.

Neither of them have got that close to being lynched, though (especially talis, to my chagrin)

VE has requested replacement. I've contacted the next guy on the replacement list, but don't hold your breath waiting for VE to post.

Day 3: Uncertainty
A visitor arriving in Liquidia on this particular evening would leave thinking that its people, renowned for their culture and worldliness, were in fact all beggars, prostitutes, and orphans. Indeed, only those whose livelihoods depended on the drunkenness and salaciousness of Liquidia’s nocturnal were seen on her streets tonight. This sort was many degrees removed from the violence of the revolution, and so felt more annoyed than afraid.
One orphan in particular felt no fear at all. This was a clever boy. Most of his peers did not reach age ten, and had instead died or been caught and whisked away to ‘who knows where.’ He liked to say ‘who knows where,’ and would say it to himself and anyone else who would listen. They usually didn’t, and that was alright with him. Being short, grubby, and nonsensical made him as good as invisible…and that is exactly what a purse-cutting orphan wants to be.
The boy walked down a side alley in zig-zagging lines, looking this way and that, listening for the boisterous shouts of the evening’s merrymakers. The taverns and brothels cast a rotten reddish light on the cobbles below his feet, their doors and windows open wide, betraying their emptiness. He would find no purses here. He went down to the port, eager to see if the sailors were up to their usual gambling and whoring, but found instead that there were no ships docked, and no sailors to be found. Even the night market, with all of its merchants who sold exotic drugs, incenses, and other oddities under the moonlight, was entirely closed up.
He was about to give up and begin digging through rubbish heaps for dinner when he was struck by a sudden inspiration. The man, named by others as Palmar! He revisited his memory of the past night, when a commotion had drawn him down an alleyway to investigate. When he arrived, there was nobody else to be seen except for him and the dead body. The boy began to get angry at himself as he remembered, for instead of searching this Palmar he had cried out for aid. Surely the man had coin and other valuables, but they were lost to him when the others had arrived.
His way was set then. There was sure to be another murder tonight, and all he had to do was find the body again before anybody else. For as far back as the boy could remember, his days and nights were spent skulking down every boulevard, street, and alleyway that Liquidia had to offer, and, as such, he knew them exceptionally well. He began to make circuits, planning carefully his route in his mind’s eye, sticking mainly to the alleyways. He had never killed someone, but if he did, he was sure he would do it in an alleyway.
He walked until his feet were sore. He walked until the sky turned the color of an angry bruise, until the sun threatened to rise. He walked until his vision began to get blurry, and his mind began to get fuzzy. He walked until the sun finally rose in its haughty grandeur, smirking at him over the rooftops.
Defeated, the boy curled up in a rubbish dump on some newspapers, and let his weariness take him.
Nobody was killed!
