It's not like I had limited shots. Nor was it likely to kill someone (unless I chanced into a type advantage). And also, why would I make a case on someone that I'd just shot? Why not do exactly what I said Mattchew was doing, and lynch another scumread? I'd lurked the shit out of Day 1. Any attempt to grab control would have been stifled so hard, kind of like what happened to me right now. I'm not terribly optimistic that having defended Mattchew earlier would have worked out any better.
