 I had a mixed read on Cephiro day/night 1. I thought he had to be town after the shot since dedede is probably town. But HomerunBat's explanation for why scum might shoot themselves is certainly plausible. Cephiro's activity levels have been quite bad, especially at deadline times, when town should be more active, and scum are more likely to excuse themselves away.
