Because he and companion cube are the only two people even remotely willing to run... and companion cube went awol when I was asking questions about the empress. I am doubtful about hassy as empress, but between mason and the regular town spotlight that comes on elected roles, I believe scum will have a hard time hiding as empress.

I was late, so I threw a placeholder vote at someone who I consider town, it's basically wasted though. Not saying revealing the name as if I'm elected I may appoint the person in question, we'll see.

I've provided multitude of reasons to consider me pretty much confirmed town by this point, so just the fact you have been discouraging people to vote for me is strange. Other than that, you seem like the rational type so I don't see how you could have considered the DT claim strategy good, and the fact you didn't even consider that they wouldn't be publicly announced is also suspicious. There are other minor things, but I will have to reread your filter tomorrow to get a better overall picture.

Work last night, wake up today, and see that there are over double the pages from the beginning of the game, and for some reason, people have completed disregarded the fuck I was running for Emperor/Empress.

Un-fucking-real.

First of all, get you're head out of your asses. I've read (I think it was Zelblade) say that I didn't put forth a solid effort to get elected. What would you have me do? This would mark the first time I ever ran for a power role in a game. How would you like me to promise a campaign?

Ok, how about this. I will lower taxes for the poor, and promise to decrease gas prices. That sound good enough?

The main reason I wanted to be voted in is because I can confirm my role, whereas I can't confirm it for anyone else in the game after only a 24 hour period, and since I felt that by taking one of the roles, I could guarantee that at least one of the power roles would be in town hands, as opposed to voting for two people who I can't feasibly get reads on (and neither can anyone else in this game, i'd imagine) after only one day of ~~spammy~~ posting.

Second thing. This spam needs to stop. I doubt I will be able to catch up 100% on everything before I have to go to dinner tonight. I skimmed through everything to get a general feel of what's going on, but almost 50 pages and it isn't even Day One yet is outright ridiculous. Get it together town.
