OK OK but i want you to imagine a situation where EVERY town player does what you say. Then everyone butts heads forever. It makes sense to try to compromise and get reads early rather than waiting for the deadline...

It's not optimal because everyone votes for themselves. 3 people are on the team, 6 are not on the team. Nothing will get done.

funny how everyone keeps shooting me down for pushing my own perspective. Of course I understand that no progress will be made if everyone nays teams without themselves. I'm simply pushing the one fact in the game that I know will improve our chances for success. With nine selection phases, there is more than enough time for a couple rounds of stalemate. I've already given my list of town and scum reads so its not like I'm not contributing elsewise.
Palmar's "I'll nay any time that isn't this" is exactly the same as my argument except he happened to select before me this round.

Palmar is just actually saying something about other people too. You're just saying "I'm town MEH". Palmar is saying "These three people are town, I'm among these three people". One thing is a lot more useful to town than the other, which is more obstructive. Blazinghand is hyperviolently (maybe not for his standards but I don't really know much about him other than he CAN be relatively civilized when he tries his best) opposing this team and you are policy-naying it. I don't think any of you are looking very good.

Palmar is at least trying to justify why he's picking Navillus.
Your "one fact" is unprovable at this stage in the game, the fact that you are town.
And there will be more than nine if everyone stalemates like you're trying to.

Maybe I'm missing it Kitaman, but I don't see a "list of your town and scum reads". I see you "jokingly" calling everyone you said was "buddying" early on "so town"...unless that's really your town list, I'm not seeing anything like that in your filter.

hmm? That's simply not true. I've named the players that I think would be good choices to go along with me. I've also named who I wouldn't want to see. It's just that Palmar has had a chance to submit his team. I think some combination me, VE, blazing and dirk would be ideal for their vocalize opinion of others and their willingness not to play a careful game or get themselves in trouble.

That is correct. Not that it means anything when I say this, since I'm not currently suggesting a team. Given the opportunity, I would suggest that team however. I would also yay vote that team if suggested.
