@prplhz, you're doing something differently this game. After going through your posts in the last game we played together and correctly deducing your alignment, I'm not sure I can say the same about your play this game.
The withdrawal of your candidacy seems forced, You were in no danger for running, yet you pulled back at the first sign of trouble.
You kept arguing against putting a veteran player in office. The massacre of veterans last night ought to show you why the spot is best held by a veteran player. Your job is not to play towards other's fears and work against the veterans, it's to try to figure out which veteran, or alternatively, yourself, is fit to do the job at hand and unlikely to be scum.
Yet you decided to plant your vote on a non-contestant in the mayor elections.
Do you think calling Kurumi out for not trolling is productive for town? Do you think re-hashing which targets will be shot tonight is useful to us? If you want to state the obvious, you have to earn it by also posting a lot of useful shit.
about the Kurumi thing, I know he's tired of being called scum whenever he doesn't troll, so I'm just not gonna have anything to do with any case involving meta for Kurumi. This means he needs to wake the fuck up and start posting less useless stuff.

If we direct vigges into a list of 3 players and a vig claims a shot on one of them that one person is almost certainly scum because no town medic would ever prot them.
Lets say we make a list of 3 people to vig. One is scum. 2 town players die that were on that list. Now please tell me how that confirms that the that wasn't shot is scum. Maybe we have only 2 vigs. Maybe a medic protected him. Maybe one vig decided to not shoot.
Imagine now if we list 3 people and one lives that is town?
Directing the power roles reduces their effectiveness by making them easier to counter AND does not give us magic info that you imply it would.

I've felt Palmar was scummy since his campaign (basically saying whatever he had to to get elected and then overnight changing to DL on day 2 once people threatened to lynch him.)
Also, for reasons posted earlier I think wherebugsgo is also scum.
As such,
##Vote: Palmar ##Vote: wherebugsgo This townie knows what he's doing. Good man. How do You know he is a townie? Because he's actually voting for scum players to lynch instead of being manipulated by them like most people in this game are. How do You know these players are scum?
The same way I know you're scum. I call you out on it and all you do is go "LOLZ OMG SEREJAI A TROLL". Pro defense there, but I don't see you denying it at any point. I'm not blinded by your manipulation like most others in this game seem to be.

I agree in general. I usually oppose directing power roles. That is why sandroba's ammendment to the idea helps. We don't direct the lurker banes, but instead have them claim once night actions are sealed.

Oh Lurker bane is a once per game thing I can get on board with that.
My post was about directing gigs though STOP doing that kind of thing everyone. Its one to claim especially when you do so after a 1 shot ability is used... though sadly it wont make confirmed towns out of them cuz Mafia Lurker banes f that up.
Directing how a power should be targeted is purely bad or scummy play and this thread keeps trying to do that.

Did I really just read 2 pages discussing wether or not a player is male/female?
How can other people not see that what serejai is doing is hard OMGUSing everyone he possibly can? WBG already pointed that out a couple of pages back.
Anyway, done talking about him, all he has done this game is served to sidetrack discussion with text coloring.
So far I'm finding everything that ace has been saying this game to make a great deal of sense. I think having lurker banes all claim after they have shot is a good idea.
As far as your arguments against Palmar and WBG go this game Ace, I am inclined to disagree with you about WBG. I do not see the scum agenda behind his posts. It is a bit odd that he is buddying up to palmar so early on, but I attribute that to his stubborness more than anything else. that being said after getting caught up im going to take my vote off of risen for now and vote palmar. His actions dont add up. From asking people medic protect you, to then saying he wanted you dead, and the reasons behind him wanting to lynch YM.

SCUM !

One of my votes will go to Palmer.
He has made the YM slip up and I'm not satisfied with the explaining he gave.
He has made the extremely obvious comment '' Medics don't target on Ace ''
He is now suddenly switching targets accusing prphlz. He realizes his time is nigh and he doesn't have enough sway against Ace so he needs an easier to frame scapegoat.
My other vote will probably go to xtfftc. Most damning evidence on his profile. I have news for you mate, a police bat is also a club.

@Palmar
You always go through stuff and then claim that you're awesome because hindsight is 20/20. Deduce my alignment this game, not last game. If you want to say anything then say it instead of this walking around the bush with your "lol i dno".
I withdrew my candidacy because I had votes on me (one or two plus my own) and because I saw no chance of winning. I withdrew because I didn't want to disturb the campaigns, as little as I was, and because I wanted to support another candidate. This other candidate was only 2 votes behind sandroba for sheriff at the time.
I didn't want to put someone in office that I (and anybody else) had very little power over getting lynched. In Mini Mafia X I had the correct read but no town pull, and consequently I ended up losing a game I should have won. There is no determining your alignment on day1. Do you see what I am getting at? Veterans dropping like flies tonight doesn't change anything, medics should protect the remaining veterans (fucking do it) but this still doesn't mean that you were more townie yesterday. And if Ace wasn't in this game, you would be immortal now. This was what I was afraid of. I am not getting any read from you right now, Ace had some good points but he also had shitty points so I have no idea. As long as you don't hold absolute power I'm so much more comfortable with you in office.
I never called Kurumi scum because of meta. I pointed out that I know my meta has changed, and that his meta has changed too. This was to make him realize that meta means nothing. Very effective I think, unless he is scum but then he'd still know that I'm right. (also, I never heard the story about the "You"s, I noticed that you only do this on TL Mafia subforum, what is the deal with that?)
I am not claiming to be particularly useful this game. I said yesterday that I didn't want medic protection because I wasn't feeling particularly useful. I don't remember I have ever been very useful in a bigger game. This is no excuse for anything and I will do my best, I am just exhausted from extensively reading 110 pages where people don't give a shit about anything but themselves. I think I have tried to be useful this game and I will continue this, there is no need to prod me. If you have a problem with me, then just come at me, bro, but I doubt that you really do.
|
Edit: He said '' All medics target Ace'' not the other way around my bad.
|
Ok triple post.
The ''All medics target Ace'' is extremely obvious as well for different reasons. I'm sure mafia would very much like it the town medics would protect only one player so they would get free reign on everyone else.
