the smurf is scum, so are sandroba and bum. Can't tell if xtf/ggq are bad or scum. I actually think, or well, thought that the best way to play a cop is to investigate targets that are either very hard to read (jackal, bum, chaos13) and or very unlikely to be shot by either side (not super scummy like mig and sandroba, although mig seems to be coming around... and not awesome scum-hunters... like no one has been this game). The theory is that checks are worth the most (and hardest to fake) if they are on people who are still living. I decided to just write bum off as a null-tell on day one, and check him, because he was taking interest in the game, I got an innocent check back, which obviously is bogus now, that's why I hardcore defended him day 2. I made a mistake though, never played a cop before, I actually said there was 100% chance of WBG flipping scum, which was terrible, i was just in a really bad mood at the time because he was being thick and bad, so bad that I figured the only explanation was that he was scum. It's another reason to claim this daybreak (I wanted to claim just before it in case I got shot, but it's 3am my time... so... no thanks). that 100% claim was done in frustration and any town would have regarded it as a breadcrumb, so yeah... I need to be careful with what I say as a cop I went back on my own theories too and played my cards too close to my chest this game too, I have said there is no reason to play differently if you're blue, but I still did it, mostly because I've been killed early in a few recent games. I guess it's still a bad idea. But yeah, makes perfect sense really, the smurf desperately needed town cred after shooting someone who was pretty obvious town, so he accuses his buddies. But when the deal actually goes down he pulls a 180 to make sure the mislynch goes through, as it doesn't even fucking matter because if I get killed it'll be 5v4, and they win during the night, unless we either have another medic, or some imba power role.
