@sandroba, no ones forgot that post. Its the most talked about post in the hole thread. Its the most analyzed post in the hole thread. why are you bringing it up? This is derailing current conversation at this point. Its 2:45 in the morning, and I am at a lost as what to do. I will just give you my thoughts: 1. Maybe this is because I am new, but can someone tell me whats so bad about lynching inactives when the town is this quite. 2 or 3 people have said its scummy to do so, and I am not buying it. 2. Scum are lurking. Again, look at this thread. Over half of town is skating by with minimal contributions. They are almost imposable to get a read on. My bet is 3/4 of mafia are gonna be in this group. 3. RoL has a good point. Mafia is content with the current town meta. They feel know danger. Rather than spell it out for you, take a second to think about what that means. So in the interest of starting up conversation I would like town to give there opinions on me and on the only other lynch candidate at this time, syllogism. sense sandroba has already given his opinion of me, what is your opinion of syllogism?? | ||

Anyway, I am glad that RoL is back. @hiro protagonist I don't find lynching inactives scummy. However, it is very anti-town and pretty fucking stupid. If we decide on lynching an inactive just by virtue of his inactiveness, it is easy for Mafia to just bandwagon without providing much more reasoning than "X is inactive, I agree on lynching him." This is why inactives should be left to vigilantes. We get much more information out of our lynches if we present cases on active members and force people to take a stance. As for the two current cases (RoL's case on syllogism and aidnai's on hiro), I think that aidnai's case on hiro is stronger, but hiro's defense seems genuine and I don't think that he is Mafia. I don't know if I will be awake the last hours before the lynch, but I'll try to. I am not convinced by any of the cases at the moment so I'll put a placeholder vote just in case. | ||

Also we are still waiting for RoLs reasons why Hiro is town. I´m not buying the genuine reaction to suspicion. In my last game GM was let off the hook for lynching the vig who shot a mole over the confirmed antitown player who was 90% certainly scum. All he had to say is "Sorry, I take full responsibility for this mess" and everyone forgave him. Hiro could have his buddies in his mafia circle make the perfect answers for him. So please indulge me why Hiro is town. + Show Spoiler + O a side note, the zodiac list seem to be rather fruitless(again) Rebirthoflegend BloodyC0bbler Node Mr.Wiggles Opz Youngminii So far I see 2 trends with this: 1. These people can go by with doing what us mere mortals do. 2. Every night 1 on this list dies as part of scum shooting routine. And the pressure on everyone else on this list does not increase, at least as far as I can tell. Maybe I just have another misconception as to what zodiac lists are supposed to accomplish. | ||

define lurking in a quiet thread. It's not like killing the people with the least posts is going to get everybody posting like crazy. We make far better use of our time and lynch if we lynch to kill scum, not eliminate lurkers. I don't buy the "he's town because his defense seems so genuine" argument. Words are words, anybody can say them. If mafia wants to look sincere, it's not that hard. Hiro, I suggest that you bring another lynch target to the table, instead of wasting your time defending yourself. | ||
