Modkills: Inactivity has been a problem in every mafia game so far. Inactivity is most easily defined as failure to vote. If you do miss a vote, you will be modkilled. Special consideration will be exercised if a player in danger of being modkilled by this manner has been an active contributor in the thread. If something comes up and you know you will miss the vote, PM me in advance about it to let me know and you will be spared. Remember again: abstaining votes are NOT allowed. And once again, flaming is not tolerated. Keep it civil, or else you will receive a quick lightning bolt to the back of the head. Furthermore, you must post at least once in this thread per game cycle (from the start of the night to the end of the next day) to avoid being modkilled. Simply voting doesn't work. This is to prevent lurkers from lurking. Unless you mean you have to post a lot to not be labeled as an inactive.

I am going to stand with Pandain and pressure inactives with my vote. Of course, if I had a solid scum tell post that I can hammer on, I would go for it. Day 1 lynches have a probability to hit townies more than it does on a red due to lack of informative or slip-up posts. Hitting a red of course would be even better for town, but even if we hit a green, we still have a chance to win. Inactives don't give us anything to work with, and they should not have joined if they knew they were going to be busy with whatever they are doing. Mafia is an incredibly active game and needs to be so in order for people to work with it. Like someone said (I forgot who), if you are busy, at least devote 30 seconds in the thread to say what is going on and why have you not posted (like what Jackal58 did). That is why I am going to vote on either why/GeorgeClooney for now, and see if anything better to vote comes up before the Day ends.

why's opinion on voting for inactives is the same as mine. Therefore I will vote ~Opz~ to actually have him be pressured instead of splitting the votes up because no one would care about having 1 vote on them. My decision will change based upon what they post.

Town should think for themselves not just read someone elses analysis and be like oh he sounds right i'll vote for xxx. Come on, from the way LSB is putting himself out as a blue role willing to sacrifice himself to prove a day or 2 later that he is indeed blue, why would any mafia be so reckless? Read. Think. Vote. YOU all have control of who you can vote. Use your brains. Not even sure if this is allowed, but read this: http://mafiascum.net/wiki/index.php?title=Antrax's_Guide_to_Being_a_Good_Townie

Wouldn't it make more sense that: Opz hits RoL Mafia hits RoL and Node RoL takes two hits, dies. Unless there's another vigi, or hits that aren't accounted for due to medics. I'm not sure how the mafia would know that RoL was a veteran and hit him twice, nor can I see a reason they'd want to stack hits unless they were sure he was going to get medic protected, they don't have much KP to spare it seems like with two members dead already. Why wouldn't they? RoL is an active player that helped analyze posts and killed GF. He also requested for medic support. I had a feeling RoL would be hit but I'm surprised even Medic couldn't save him even with his 2 lives. Unless of course Medic didn't use their protection on him. = =

Btw, just for me, can we pick at least 1 lynch target(or both...) from these people: - Meapak_Ziphh - Brocket - Jackal58 I'd say Brocket, he's the only one that voted for you. My votes for double lynch are going to be on Mr. Zergling based on Barundar's analysis + Meapak as of now. I do hope we at least get 1 scum out of this double lynch. Gonna have to review a lot of posts to find other lurking targets.

Anyways, I find it weird that Barundar and Pandain are alive for so many nights. Could the medic have protected him all along? Are the mafia trying to make us kill each other by purposely not killing them? Are THEY the mafia? I don't know. All I can say is I am definitely not mafia. If a "real" DT checked me before or checks me now, they'll know for sure. If town feels the need to waste a vote on me to be on the safe side, I would say go ahead, since you guys still have a double lynch left. But surely it will just waste your vote.

Also, if you firmly believe Mango and Soulfire are reds, I have no problem voting for them, there's really not much to work with and I guess when people decide to lynch me there will be an even better chance to hunt scum since it'll narrow down the players even more.

Mafia is not a game you can pick up and play. You need to stay focused on it until you're removed from the game. If you decide you don't want to play midway through, your options range from getting lynched to getting replaced to even getting modkilled. All of these are instances of you letting your team down, and rest assured everyone else playing doesn't appreciate it. Many people have tried to recover from burnout phases with a "nice easy game of Mafia" and found that it didn't work out. Mafia is a competitive game, albeit unique in that players are not directly competing with each other individually. Playing to win is central to the game. On the Town's side, making light unrelated conversation with the other players, even if you like them outside the game, doesn't help the cause if it drags on for very long (especially since you may need to lynch them later). On the Mafia's side, it has been suggested that night-kills be tailored to keeping enjoyable players alive instead of making kills that will make it more likely that they will win. If that Mafia then loses, then it will come out that they essentially lost on purpose - and no victorious Town wants to hear that. The bottom line is, Mafia is not for everyone. It's nothing personal if you don't like what you just read, but everyone will probably be happier if you stayed on the sidelines. Note that this is NOT saying that Mafia shouldn't be fun. For Mafia, the fun comes more from the competition than the social aspects. You're more than welcome to talk to the players after the game and go from there. Sorry guys, I let a lot of people down. It's my 2nd game of mafia and I got townie twice in a row. I know townie can be fun as well but the inactivity of all the other townies as well gave me a very boring atmosphere especially when even the mafias were lurking. I guess I'll try to change my play the next game I am in and see what I can do.
