Changing votes doesn't seem to be such a great indicator of mafia. In pokemafia it was just the townies that changed votes because of persuasive arguments or otherwise. Yeh. I'm really not resonating. Guess I need more people accusing me to get me going. | ||

1. It gives the mafia and confused townies a new bandwagon to jump on and pulls attention away from suspects who were discussed, rendering a whole day's worth of discussion virtually wasted. 2. New targets that get voted don't get enough discussion and often appears random. This has the negative effect of making the accusers look scummy trying to save their mate. Amber + d3 + lsb started a mini wagon on shockeyy at the end of a day phase in pokemafia at the end of the day phase and they had to explain themselves extensively. This was when we had plenty of discussion on zeks/gabe and they just ignored all of it on a hunch. But I have to disagree about DT checks. Sure they aren't 100% reliable with the miller/framer in town to make people look like mafia but you can be reasonably sure a townie result should be alright (barring godfather obviously) and is a valuable result. | ||

I ought to contribute so I'll just make a decision now. Looking at the voting thread I have to disagree with a double lynch, it's honestly better when you have 2 or 3 people being suspected/pressured and who we need to see flipped. Soulfire: I don't think Soulfire is a mafia, he seems to support his choice to vote well enough. I did the same thing in pokemafia and got a lot of shit from it day 1 and I was new. Wiggle: Don't know. He doesn't annoy me like gabe did. Like Gabe made my buttcheeks clench every time I had to read his posts. And it didn't matter if gabe ended up being townie, I just wanted him out or myself killed. I can see why people would vote him though because he's a grey area. Insanious: Draws attention to himself for this reason. I notice now that insanious was really pushing to get me lynched because I was inactive, and because I was inactive I didn't reply which just encouraged him to lynch me more. How amusing. Brocket almost didn't play the first 48 hours it because he was doing 7 hour driving stints from victoria to new south wales and had to sleep when he got home. Insanious hasn't been particularly convincing in lynching inactives and it wasn't a good idea to begin with. I don't lurk unless I say I'm lurking (check pokemafia). RoL doesn't seem to like Insanious and he's been a pretty active dude keeping track of posts and so far that's good enough for me. I don't like late day bandwagons or bad assumptions and insanious seems to have done both. ##vote insanious. | ||

I don't think Annul played properly and case in point he admits he's mafia before the day's news is published. Don't you guys want to see who RoL wants to suspect next before trying to kick him out? I guess the relevant people I'm talking to are medics, dt's and vigilantes for the night phase. I mean, crazy ideas like RoL actually being mafia sounds so preposterous it might be true but it's definitely not 100%. I'm actually going to stand up for RoL because I can't comprehend him being mafia. Maybe it's my lack of imagination. I'll suspect him if he starts using his credibility to make bad decisions like lynching no mafia for the rest of the game or bringing out more blue role claims. | ||

Despite your good intentions I will not join your circle. I'm pretty meh at the moment, we have all these role calls which I've never seen before. =/ I guess it's a good thing, but it gives advantages to both towns and mafia. The mafia really need all the help they can get and I'm not keen on throwing them a bone. @Insanious: right... Kinda like that time LSB got the mewtwo (serial killer) to kill me 'just because I didn't agree with him'. Except it's exactly the same. De ja vu except I like LSB more than you because you make no effort analysing me. FoS on you. | ||

You might be right, meapak might be mafia. Everybody's entitled to their opinion. I'll do another FoS when it's appropriate, but right now I'm just settling with Insanious who's getting pretty desperate to kick me out. This should be common sense but be careful of what you say Barundar, it's getting a lot of suspicion even if it's only asking someone for advice. But anyway, I'll just have to try harder to call people out. | ||

I'm willing to change my 2nd vote to one of the 4 (still have to keep an eye on jackal though). I'm happy keeping mango and seraph to be honest, they've been pretty good at contributing just like everybody else. I guess that means I ought to switch my 2 votes to zergling and darth so I don't have to pick one. It'll have to do. | ||

It's true that paindain and barundar have been guiding the town, and the double lynch was pretty sub par (at least no blues were killed). Paindain's been sussing out the blues by Pm'ing everybody including myself. What I'm trying to say is, if they really are mafia then they are currently causing damage and have enormous potential to win the game for mafia since only a couple of us are starting to point fingers at them. This is what I think about when OpZ says that paindain and barundar are not confirmed. Which is true since we're not all DT's. I have to say they've been pretty damn good acting as townie. I still want to believe they're townie but just take what they say with a grain of salt. | ||

OpZ provides a pretty thorough case against them and Mr wiggles provides a similarly thorough case for them. I already said I'm inclined to think they're town but blind trust is never good. If they're mafia then they're getting away with everything. If they're town then they might help us win the game. It's the latter statement that I want to talk about. 1. Opz: Firstly OpZ seems to be more likely town than paindain due to his vigi claim. It's very hard to fake a vigi claim or fake counter claim as vigi. Hence I don't think it's likely that opz is lying because the real vigilante would have stood up by now. I don't think at this point anybody suspects opz, except perhaps our B+P duo since he is accusing them. So do you believe OpZ or do you trust Barundar + Paindain? 2. Medic Protection Paindain is soaking up medic protection. Hell if there are two medics they might both be saving him, who knows. Mr Wiggles has made the correct assumption that if Paindain is town, then the mafia will not hit Paindain. However this is not necessarily a good thing since it essentially forces the mafia to kill off the rest of us who may be the medics. Paindain may already know who the medics are though through PMing everybody. If he does, then he probably isn't mafia, otherwise the medics would be dead. I don't believe any good medic would reveal himself though. Lastly the obvious waste of medics if Paindain is actually mafia. 3. Roleblocking It's also a fair assessment that Paindain has got everybody's attention and that his DT claim is actually not helping. Why? Because the mafia know who to role block so he is essentially gimped until he gets lynched/killed until someone else claims medic/dt. That is, if you buy Paindain's story that he's being roleblocked. Sadly writing this I am realising that if we lynch paindain it won't be as detrimental as it sounds. I'm assuming the worst here, if he's mafia then it'd be a great lynch. If he's not well, what happens? The mafia needs a new target to role block and the medics look for someone else to protect. Essentially the pool of targets gets redistributed. Kinda like a reset button which currently might be a good thing for town. The status quo seems to be thusly: Role blockers go for Paindain, medics go to paindain, mafia go for everybody not Paindain. Eventually there won't be enough townies left to support Paindain, we need to break the stalemate to survive. Does this sound crazy? I guess so. I'll stop now. | ||
