We haven't decided anything. But yeah we are openly arguing about it. My suspects for mafia are at the moment:
Annul, RebirthofLegend, Mr.Zergling and OpZ, Im undecided on the last 2, but mango is a good guess.
I'm openly working with Pandain, and I have no problem hiding it. I trust him 100 % to be town.
Tonight we should aim for annul. This should make the rest of them more discendable.

uh
i just woke up. i went to a party last night and got home at 7:30 am
im a flat green. i got LSB wrong, yeah. sorry about that, i tried. but so did a bunch of other people so its not really all my bad. i sort of expected retribution but apparently i wake up to see a wagon on my ass despite like everybody saying they were on my side regardless. i guess they arent now.

here is the thing: apparently my senses are off. i was sure LSB was red. i figured people wouldnt listen to my analysis since i was way off the first time, so i figured why bother

Now, as annul had said previously, and after, with such resounding confidence was that LSB was red. Even afterwards, he waved off him being wrong as "LSB was lying/bad townie." So, now here he makes an excuse for being inactive. But this excuse is a very bad one. He's saying he wouldn't analyze because "no one would listen", despite him just saying that everyone had agreed with him previously(although they really didn't, they just understood).

So annul, the fact we where wrong on LSB means we cannot have opinions on who other mafia is? Thats entirely bull, and no reason to stop scum hunting. Plenty of townies voted for LSB, only the mafia knew he wasn't guilty. Thats why it was so important for you guys to paint people who voted for him suspecious.
Town alligned people didn't need to go into hiding beceause of a failed lynch. Only mafia did.
|
@annul, yes a lot of players (including veteran like Dr.H) voted to lynch LSB. I also vote to lynch LSB. But we didn't lynch LSB because of the reasons you provided. We lynched LSB because of the way he acted and the sudden counter bandwagon on brocket. You vote to lynch LSB because you think his early spams are mafia-like. I am not trying to say that LSB got lynched because you screwed up. Those who voted to lynch LSB misanalyzed.
I also believe that if you lynched someone based on reasons you provided. If the reasons make sense to you, regardless of the outcome where that person you lynched is town or mafia, the decision you made is correct because the same play style will get you a mafia next time.
After LSB's death, I expected you to redeem yourself by hunting a mafia down. But now, you are unvoting and voting without giving explanation. That is the reason that I am voting for you. I think you are a mafia who refuses to contribute.
|
lol do i need an explanation?
voting to save my ass
|
id much rather the wagon roll on zergling or wiggles, but since it seems like me or orgolove, then not like i have much a choice right?
|
OK. It is reasonable that you switch vote to save yourself.
I'll ask you another question: Can you explain why you voted for Mr.Zergling?
|
i dont remember, i just remember i had some reason
i remember thinking "the two misters" as my wanted votes
tbh i didnt expect to have to actually think in this game today.
|
but really, now that you have your reason for my voting (which should have been blatantly obvious), does that mean that

isnt true anymore?

alright, after my hiatus from activity I will return. First off I know we only have 4 hours left for voting so I am going to say this. Everyone vote annul I will explain my reasoning in a post within the next hour but it is important that anyone on now starts voting for him. I will begin my analysis shortly.

lol thats what you said 2 days ago too

First off, I'd like to reiterate my suspicion of Seraph. He is doing the exact same thing he did Day 1, which is spamming early in the day and then when it gets closer to crunch time completely disappearing. Seems like a red hoping to drop off the map to me. Also, Seraph's "contributions" for the day are an analysis that I already showed had basically no point. But, since all the votes are on Annul/Orgolove, I'll weigh in on them.
Annul: I agree that the whole thing is extremely suspicious. I can't make heads or tails of the whole Day 1, I think he could be red or green based off of that. I'm very interested in his defense, which seems to be taking place as I am typing. I will make my decision to vote/not vote based on his defense (as for the first time he'll be talking about something not LSB or spam).
Orgolove: I can definitely see him being red, but I would like to note that in HP mafia, as mafia, he threw a bunch of FoS's around on town, which he hasn't done this game. But, his defense has been horrible so far this game, and it seems like he is content to just sit around and let the votes shift around. This seems like a mafia move to me...I'd really like to see a better defense and perhaps some contributions from him. I'd be content to vote for orgolove if no one else wants to vote for Seraph and annul responds to pressure well.
But again, I'd rather vote for Seraph or at least make him a lynch on day 3.
Also, I'm going to vote for double lynch because of all the reasons everyone has said.

That is the reason that I am voting for you. isnt true anymore? Yes, this is my reason. If a skilled player acted without a logical reason why he acted in such a way, then I believe that player is mafia. Good town players are supposed to help town, they should not act in ways that do not benefit town. On the other hand, good mafia players are trying to act in a way to make mafia win, sometimes they are acting in ways that benefit mafia and can't explain it to town.
Why would you think that no one will listen to you after LSB is lynched? A lot of us share similar responsibility that LSB was mislynched.

I will vote for annul when I am convinced he is red/has the best chance of being red among the people who it is possible to lynch. At the moment we still have 4 hours. I will definitely be back on after you post and before the deadline to make a final decision.

what do you want me to defend against?
people say "he was active day 1 now hes not, vote annul"
yeah at least i was active day 1, as opposed to many people who were inactive both day 1 and day 2
if i have something to put forward i do so, as you saw. if i dont, i sit back and wait until i do. this is my style. note in haunted i pretty much said nothing of value until near the end of day 2 (3?) when i decided it was time to win the game for my red team. note in insane i said nothing until i wanted to win mayor (failed attempt, but still) as a blue. note in salem i said nothing pretty much the whole game because, imagine that, i had nothing to say. i was green that game.
so whatever color i am this is how i play. it doesnt make me red or blue or green, since TL has seen me do it while every color.
THIS game though, i gave the town what it needed: activity. otherwise it would devolve into a normal TL mafia town with a bunch of nothing happening. i got shit moving, even if i was wrong in the end. if i were red i should just let town self-implode like it tends to do, yes? i decided to actually, you know, play the game. and hope others followed along.
i cannot carry the town's analysis and wagoning every single day. why you expect me to i dont know

It's kinda amazing that you guys are so sure of my alignment, when not a single one of your assumed scum buddies of mine has risen up to my defense since the suspicion placed on me.
Sheesh guys. Just because I haven't been active as much as I was before, does that suddenly bring me towards being a red? How many lynches do you have to waste before the town stops sheeping along with Pandain's analysis, the first day of which already caused us to lose one blue?
Just about the only "argument" pandain gave forth is that I haven't been as active this game. What, a man can't spend some time outside of an internet forum game thread during the new years? lol...
On January 02 2011 03:49 d3_crescentia wrote: I would add that Orgolove hasn't really done much besides squirm or angrily retaliate when pressured
in "all my 13 posts" more than half was pointing out obvious scum tells and the idiocy of joining and using the IRC channel. I think that's been much more beneficial than Pandain's superficial analysis that lost us one blue, and is in danger of losing another right now.
Sigh.
If my death is what it takes for the town to stop uselessly focusing on inactives, and start to actually scumhunt - I already see RoL and annul as top targets - then I'll gladly take it. Better me than a more important blue. Once I flip, I strongly encourage you to take a look at those two. And Pandain as well - this would be the second time in a row of wasting the town's lynch. Wonder how much longer it'll take the town to realize that we need to stop listening to his spam and think for ourselves.

You didn't give it any activity. You distrubted day 1, and then you went into hiding.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank RoL for confirming my suspicions. He is not a blue. He is the godfather. Since mafia has given up on annul, this means we get to lynch red tonight.

same can be said for me fyi - except those who now seem to constitute the wagon in the first place
