I had good reason to believe gabe and dc were mafia and LSB just went full retard trying to pick apart what I said when I made complete sense. And Gabe is just too immature. Never go full retard. I think your indecisions prompted d3 to kill me, or perhaps DC. This game has left a bad taste in my mouth. I think I know which games to avoid in the future by looking at who signs up. The host was okay though. It's just a case of the mafia not needing to do anything when the townies are already just bad, bad players. I think it was pretty easy to lose interest when you try to say something and the most vocal players refuse to understand the point you're making. /rage. im out. | ||

Town did not bring their A-game, but Ace said it best... "It's not what you know, but what you can convince others to believe." If you have an agenda that you need the Town's support, then the onus is on you to do whatever it takes to see it through. It sucks when other players dig in and actively work against you but you have to understand that in Mafia, the level of trust is low to begin with. It's not everyone else's fault if you can't see your plan to fruition. If what you take away from this game is, "I now have a list of players to avoid" then you should think about the game some more. My advice here is to think about all of the ingredients that are required to keep Town on track and incorporate that into your next game. You should see better results. | ||

The way you post makes people ignore you. I don't think I'd call LSB stupid, he just underestimated a few of us and it was basically him vs the world come the last 2 days. You were posting unintelligibly and unconvincingly, and everyone else but ~2 players were only posting 1-3 times a day. @node Yeah, that would've saved you guys, too bad @meapak I dunno, ask d3. I think this was a learning experience for me most like, I took away A LOT... here are just a few pointers at the way I played the game, that I want to see if anyone else thinks is right: 1) Never stop posting, as the days drew closer to an end, I would stop posting so that the mafia wouldn't think of me when thinking of who to hit. This was stupid for a few reasons, mainly I would end up not helping the top when they needed it (end of day), as well the mafia will hit who they notice throughout the thread not just someone who is missing for a few hours. 2) Less analysis, you don't need to quote every post someone makes, you just need to quote the important ones. I found that people were ignoring me simply because my posts were like 10 pages long. Next time just a couple posts will be quoted as evidence, and will use the rest of a players posts as back up. 3) I suck as chancy my protects were: N1 LSB (he talked a lot), N2 kavdragon (seemed like a good choice at the time), N3 LSB On N3 I tried to get the other chancey's to protect Gabriel and seraph... but people didn't listen (or were too inactive) to get the whole "LSB, Gabriel, Seraph are 100% green" aka protect these three people... maybe too subtle? - - - - Also a question, did anyone know I was a blue? I got FoS'ed like 4 times, never defended my self except vs DCL (who was mafia...) and no one even looked at it. I thought people thought I was green, but LSB knew I was a blue (although might be thinking too highly of LSBs powers) | ||

I died because I disapproved of LSB's sudden bandwagon on shockey. And yes, I distinctly remember it was amberlights, then d3 who got on shockey first. Apparently that made LSB dissatisfied and my subsequent posts were therefore null and void. @d3: before listening to LSb did you not read the many, many posts of me advocating to keep mewtwo as a villager? and that people voting against you were anti-town. what the fuck? The other mafia members thought that you could be a good town leader and would be very active, so we decided to kill you before you could talk too much. The same with pandain. Sorry, use a smurf account next time @LSB I figured you were fake claiming vet the last night, but it was not worth risking hitting a vet/chansey target when all we needed to do was reduce your numbers. We actually should have won during the last vote, as we did have a vote switch planned like you suspected. We were going to throw our votes onto d3 and some green at the last minute, which would have won us the game then. unfortunately, I had something come up and I was unable to be active at the appropriate time, as was oceanic I believe. @Insanious/d3 It was fun arguing with you guys. Dragging you guys into massive arguments in nested quotations really allowed me to stay alive for a few more days. And insanious - we killed you because you were arguing with me and I thought it would be nice to kill every single player who argued with me, to see if anyone would notice. One or two people did, but I managed to pass it off as being framed. @ Brocket I had to read some of your posts several times just to understand what you were saying. You may have understood the meaning when you wrote it, but you were not able to convey your ideas well through your posts. Then we have your attitude issue where you seem to think you are better than us all, and you are shocked that we don' t realize that. That really makes people ignore you, or at least I do because of that. Also, if you want to be taken seriously try using real words. Suss is not a word. | ||
