as far as the MoM i think he should probably do waht town says

if mafia mom is elected he can kill the most experienced player and it wont matter if he is protected by doctors or whatever, that could be really dangerous

Yeah, that is true. Disregard my post I wasn't really thinking of it like that. But if he was mafia and just Lynch somebody important that is contributing a lot and helping the town find the mafia. We could just lynch the mayor. It really depends if the person turns out to be a mafia or a townie right? I think someone isn't stupid enough just to lynch a random person without the town approving it then we could just lynch the mayor right?

Im really unexperienced please stop me if I'm acting noobie?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but we have to vote a character, not a player, right? So if a player is looking to become minister of magic, he has to reveal his character so we can vote for him?

There seem to be two major choices to me. Either we elect an experienced mafia player who is well known for his red-hunting prowess, or we elect someone who will just take a vote and kill the person with the most votes. The advantage with the election system is that we can use all the traditional tools, like voting to pressure inactives or whatever.

I'd be more than happy to vote for an experienced player, but I'm new so I don't know who's good and who's not. So, at the moment, my vote is with Zeks.

i think its honestly more important probably to talk about who the mom should lynch more than who should be mom

but no one really seems suspicious yet T_T

i think if this game had clues it'd be easy. i read that haunted game and everything seemed pretty obvious based on clues to me

4 AM on Saturday morning, I come back home to find I'm in a new mafia game.

Skimmed the thread, I'm not sure about the no clues thing, since annul said:
"2. pay very close attention to the final line of every cycle change post. helpful hint."

That may or may not be a clue of some sort. We'll see.

One more thing tho, I was part of the Kingmaker game, where the "mayor" was elected every day.
If our MoM gets killed, will we elect a new one? And if so, what's to stop Mafia from killing them 'till they get a mafia MoM?

I think we should just wait and see before placing our votes on now we got to see who else will be running for MoM. Yes, it would be good to have a very experienced mafia player that is good for hunting mafia but what if he's mafia he's good enough to not look the part of being mafia and he can just pressure us in to choosing someone that isn't mafia and waste a day.

Because of the smurfs in game, we won't really have a full understanding of all of the veteran players in play. Since the minister seems to only have the say on the first lynch and then no other abilities, they should probably be someone who we can both all agree on, as well as someone who will then listen to all of us when it comes to choosing the first lynch.

too dangerous to elect a mayor who wants to be independent. thats the only way mafia could make use of the role

also i think people are inclined to trust a mayor so having a mafia in that role could be devastating especially if he tries to get everyone to tell him their role or something

there are no "clues" in the sense that i will signal to a player's profile information/name/etc during kills or other actions. there are hints in the sense that roles and other important things will be alluded to in flavor text

Pick Your Power Mafia 2!: I picked traitor. As traitor I get our most important mafia member killed, and also the SK killed. Enough deaths meant the mafia lost
Team Melee Mini Mafia II: As scum I am imediatly identified. Our team has one of the members claim doctor... and get killed. Our team then does a noobie mistake and looses.

Simply put. I lose as Mafia. And as town I help the town win. Vote me for mayor if you want to win!
