Are you sure? I'm pretty sure it went down to a 3-way between me LSB and you. I voted for you and you voted for me, then LSB hammered us both. We both died, LSB was last man standing and won.

Morning guys. Don't have too much time to post, so I will throw in my quick opinion:
It doesn't seem that the MoM has any powers beyond the first day lynch. So choosing this player isn't as important as choosing who to lynch first. We still have about the same chance to hit scum as always, we just need to make sure that whoever is our MoM listens to the general consensus. This is why I'm going to vote for Meapak. He seems that he will be rather unbiased and will choose what the rest of the town wants.

I'd follow everyone with whom should be lynched. I'm perfectly fine taking on the role of MoM...It is just the power of choosing the first lynch after all. Not very useful or exciting, but I'm down with being the candidate to do the lynching.

On day one, you must vote for a Minister for Magic. Note above the thirty-one eligible candidates. There are thirty-one players. Coincidence? Nope! The Minister will have no further powers beyond day one (no bodyguards, et cetera) and his only game power will be to decide the day one kill. Election will end at 7 PM EST on Sunday, December 12. The kill submission must come before 9 PM EST the same day. Vote for Minister in the voting thread.

Ok, i'm sorry for bringing up smurfs again. Smurf or not *actually* wasn't the main point of post--it's just strange to me that an honest-to-god newbie has no other question about the game than 'what is a smurf'. He looked suspicious, so I wanted to see how/if he reacted.

We don't have to worry about smurfs right now we have to worry about who we're going to lynch and who's going to be our mayor we can take care of smurfs later on.

you're trying to convince us that your voting method is fool-proof and that it wouldn't make a difference whether or not you were mafia, when in actuality if you were mafia you could easily just choose to lynch a prominent pro-townie and take one for the team, all the while spreading confusion amongst those who voted for you who weren't mafia
Your first point and your second contradict in that your first assumes that you aren't mafia in order to be relevant, whereas your second says that town has nothing to lose in voting for you as they could gain info from your position as MoM when you change your vote to help mafia; "Even if I'm mafia" would NEVER be put in a speech trying to promote yourself for election because whether or not you realize it, that was a huge fuck-up

Under my leadership any detective/alighnment checker roles that exist will not claim until they have found a red or confirmed a blue because with so many alternative victory senarios it will be crucial to have these players alive to determine who can be trusted. As for the medics they should focus on protecting any blue roles that our detective unearth and once a detective is uncovered and confirmed than medics should protect them.

Most promise the same thing, openess and a willingness to listen to the town. Except of course for LSB. The mayor vote basically comes down to do you trust LSB or not and if you don't then it's a personality contest between the remaining candidates. Except for LSB pretty much all the candidates have promised to listen to the town in some way or another. Out of these players at least one of them is mafia, therefore consider this list a possible lynch list if I get elected.
Oh and regarding smurfs. I still want to know who is a smurf and who isn't. I know better players may want to play with annonimity but I'd like to know who is a smurf and who is new because there are some things new players do that make them look like scum. I'd like to know when it's a new player making a mistake and when it's an experienced player taken advantage of their smurfing position. That being said I don't care who the person smurfing is i.e. I don't need to know the identity of the smurf. However for the sake of clarity I will continue to try and find the smurfs.

Since mayor has no other ability except for day 1 lynch, can we decide who to lynch then vote for someone to do the lynching? This eliminates the possibility that we have a mafia mayor choosing not to lynch a mafia.
