This is a somewhat dangerous practice. We don't do it every game, but Flamewheel and I ask Plexa to IP check accounts which look like they might be smurfs every few games just to make sure people aren't smurfing under the table.

Speaking of which, anybody got any good ideas of in flavor power roles for the death eaters? It would be nice to have some idea of what they could be capable of.

the game is perfectly playable even if you do not know anything about HP.
i designed it so that you can verify claims that are rooted in HP knowledge very easily with google, while giving fake claimers a lot of room to work with and sound legit

Well I really think rebirthoflegend should explain his vote to lynch LSB. Im suspicious of LSB too but should we really lynch a player experienced like that day 1?
rebirthoflegend seems to have a lot of experience too so i think he should say why he will kill lsb

Morning everyone.
So we have a major vote, looking forward to trying something different than town lynch on day 1. What’s your reasoning regarding LSB RoL? Ready for another "lynch him and lynch me after"? 
I have a lot of respect for LSB’s scumhunting abilities, and he was an offensive pro-town player in loose yo village. I’m not sure I like his voting idea though.
Is this the candidates?

I don't know. Why would a townie want a secret vote... the thing we have as an advantage is the numbers. There's more of us than the mafia. A true townie would realize that immediately. Given that the mayor can kill anyone he wants, a secret vote doesn't make any sense - it just leaves it open for him to manipulate whatever results he wants and make it believable. Smells like scum to me...
And "Veterancy" does not have any merit. There's plenty of people who haven't participated much in TL mafia, but had previous experience. You can't use that for voting for him.

Oh and RoL in answer to your question of why not LSB my answer is that right now I would lynch LSB if elected however theres still a lot of time so I'm not committing myself to killing him like you are.

One reason for me to vote for RoL would actually be he is clear about who dies if he is elected – he won’t just change. I find the lack of reasons, other than his plan, slightly worrying though, since there is noone defending LSB.

How about everyone calms down, we vote for a decent mayor, and then we try to figure it out.
Me, I would lynch an inactive on first night. We can't have them dragging on till days 3-4 like we did before and then be in too much crap to afford to get rid of them.
I wouldn't mind lynching LSB either, part from the fact that you guys said he's an experienced player, but if we don't, LSB will still be under scrutiny for the rest of the game because of his voting strategy.
The lurkers, however, will never get outed, and I absolutely HATE that.

I find it incredibly interesting that your suddenly coming up and attacking me after a large organized attack.
There has been an overwhelming negative voice to my plan. Although I understand that people don't immediately trust me. I find it awfully convenient that your running for mayor under a platform of "lets lynch the first person who offered an idea of what to do with mayorship!"
I'm fine with changing my plan. However, the thing is, if we're given the power to change how the first day vote goes, shouldn't we attempt to do something?
If we're just going to stick with voting to see who to lynch, I don't see any reason why Meapak_Ziphh shouldn't be mayor. But we should use every resource that is available to us.
