Also, if citi.zen is telling the truth and SouthRawr is not, then Tricode is almost definitely also telling the truth, hence Tricode should not be on the list. I'm serious; stop being a dick. If South is blue then Day 3 was perfect for mafia. They have 1-2 people come out and argue for lynching citizen (someone like BC, tree hugger, or me) and a couple others to start the wagon on South (e.g. you, zeks, or lakrismamma). The town just eats up the bullshit since a mafia was never in danger of getting lynched due to citizen fronting for the mad hatter rather than actually being the mad hatter. Basically the entire duality of Citi/South was thrown because citizen was not the role he said he was, so instead of being at Citi/South/Tricode we're at South/Tricode/Mystery Player. | ||

No, we've already come to a conclusion and a well defined plan that was formed even before citi.zen died. The only thing that could possibly come out of 'reading thinking evaluating' and wasting anymore time is that scum could post up alternate theories and back each other up which will pollute the mind of the newbie/inactive townies leading to a change in momentum from pressure on mafia to another wasted lynch. We can still trust citi.zen that the Mystery Player exists, BECAUSE citi.zen flipped green. It's pretty much the same as citi.zen flipping MH except that now it's even better because MH is hidden. We KNOW that it's either South or Tricode that's lying. It's almost definite that South is lying and you're backing him up with a whole host of other scum. If South ends up flipping blue, oh damn well we've got Tricode. Also, I apologise for being a dick, I guess I'm just happy that mafia are cornered and I don't want anything to jeopardise the win. | ||

Stop thinking that you can already know what the answer is 5 minutes in. And the only thing that can come out of reading thinking and evaluating is a reasonable, logical thing. Listen to yourself. You say things like this all the time, and you never really back it up. You throw around words like "flawed" and "inconsistent" like you're the sole arbiter of truth, and that your claims are so self-evident, that they ought to fight for themselves in the thread of public opinion. Part of this game is guessing. Part of this game is skill. Part of this game is persistence. Part of this game is the ability to work with others. You have these abilities in varying qualities, but you don't have the most important trait in mafia, which is patience, and cool headedness. Lynching citi.zen made a lot of sense. It was basically a way of confirming one player over another in a near 50/50 set-up. citi.zen had been on the radar of a ton of people from the game's beginning, including my own. He had a history of useless posting, just as he had a history of making grandiose gambles. But he screwed up hugely today, first by falsely claiming blue, and second by somewhat arrogantly not defending himself. This undoubtably intensified some people's convictions of his guilt, but if you took the chance of him and South being 50/50 mafia, then he was still the obvious choice. His outcomes were better than South's outcomes, and it made logical sense to kill him as a test of this. Unfortunately, the fact that he WASN'T the MH makes this somewhat worse. A new possibility; that of the MH being the GF is now fair game, and his analysis and "bombs" will be missed. He claimed that way to late, and I really don't have any sympathy for him because of that. That said, what you've been right on since the day post is that this isn't over yet, not by a long shot. It's the mafia's move now, and if they continue to suck at killing blues, then the town is in a solid position. We have a split vote today, with only a couple outliers (we need to be focusing on those as well) and so we should be able, as you're saying, to isolate the mafia pretty easily. There's only one wrinkle, and I hesitate to even add this, because we're probably screwed if it's the case. IF citi.zen's MH is the godfather, then we can assume that our two detectives will die tonight. This puts us in a huge hole, but it also makes SouthRawrea look innocent. Which means that the mafia was able to split it's votes between both candidates. At which point, we're done. Hence why citi.zen's fake blue claim could turn out to be so devastating. Here's what | ||

You don't want the mafia to win but then proceeded to toss potential dt under the bus (said player has claimed dt mouth). If said mouth is lynched and flips town, it auto means your gf. Really, I've yet to come across anyone giving a reasonable counter explanation. No, I do not count your "we were working with citi.zen, but for some reason citi.zen didn't say anything about it to anyone" theory as a reasonable explanation. I know I'm being loud because people DO need it drilled through their heads that this list will win the game. Lots of people are too easily swayed by mafia and they will do anything to shine a bad light on me etc. | ||
