good, that's the right way to do it. I know some other mods pick and choose roles to give out.

I'm exciteddd. Just as a note: Friday I won't be around because of travel. I'll make sure to work my voting around that so I don't disrupt the game/get modkilled, but if I disappear on Friday, that's why.

didn't expect my role pm so soon. Just because something looks like it will be easy for the town doesn't mean it will be... because of that, we need to do some serious scumhunting. As long as we can pick out the scummier acting people, I believe in us. Learn from our mistakes as a town. Everything should be o.k. Rest assured I'll do my best to fight for this town. You all can look up to your brother bill

@medics and dts, don't claim this early. wait until you have a solid list as a dt...

How does the recruiting affect the game. I guess it makes it harder to make a solid list of trusted townies. We will have to look out for people who changes behavior during the game.
The activity of the people in this game will also make in play out different from other games I guess. We don't have to focus on lynchings inactives but can go after behavior directly.

This is going to be interesting. I've never actually played a mafia game with any forms of recruitment before. I suppose I should say don't claim unless you're at L-1 or it's lylo but I guess you're all more experienced than I am.

You would not trust anyone day 1 anyway. By the time we get a "confirmed" townie the mafia recruiting will be pretty much done/inconsequential.

But can't the Godfather just recruit the "confirmed" townie? I don't see how recruiting will ever become inconsequential, unless of course the Godfather gets lynched.

If you're a free mason, you can't be recruited (it just fails, godfather doesn't even know it failed). Therefore, as a free mason you don't want to reveal that you are since the mafia will not choose to recruit you (and thus not wasting a move) and kill you.

Also, since I can't place votes, just know that I'm voting for Chezinu. He signed up first. He obviously knew this was coming. He's in cahoots with DTA. You really believe that the roles were random? Maybe we'll get 'lucky'.
