I don't really get how some of the people who vote for deuce think he's gonna flip green anyway .. if you think he's green then don't vote for him If it were upto me I'd rather lose MooCow as a green than deuce as a green.
The thing is, it's possible that Deuce is red. Just less likely.

lol. true.
Everyone, I'm switching to MooCow because a) it still requires two of you for that to follow through, so I won't feel as guilty if we mislynch and b) his posting behavior IS really off. I disregard most of his recent posts because anyone will step up their game when their put in spotlight. When I was on the chopping block as mafia in PYP I had a great defense imo, the math just wasn't in my favor. That, and there was only like one person backing me up, haha.
But yea - reasons have been given, but things I'm basing my vote on: - playing the newbie card over and over. - bandwagon-y voting / support in terms of voting - high post count, low contribution level
Hmm. Those are the main things. There are more, but I want to show people so that they can read this before voting.

Since I didn't say anything about this earlier because I thought it was obvious ...
Let's ignore clues for a second. Everyone who thought that ElyAs or barth would be medic protected, please raise your hand.
I'm waiting.
Oh, right, none of you did. How about how many of you thought they were worth killing through possible Veteran protection?
MTF took the third hit guys. Maybe Flamewheel decided to toss the third mafioso into the clues anyway, maybe it's a red herring, maybe it's hinting at something like blink.
The only ever reasonable explanation for MTF to lie about getting hit is if he's Godfather claiming Veteran and the mafia stacked hits. I don't buy that either. Go work through the logic yourself.

Re: AFJ vs MooCow
Yeah, MooCow claim's he's new. He certainly hasn't played in any past TL mafia game. Last game I was in, another new player game (Pyrry's game, which is why I reference it, because I remember what happened) I gave a lot of people too much credit. Personally I ignored his rule-check and newbie-claim posts entirely because I can't decide whether they should point me one way or the other.

Uh, dude, did you read that thread? It was a daykill game, it was one with Chezinu, the people playing in the game thought it was a clusterfuck. I think MooCow chancing upon that mafia thread and opening it did him more harm than good.
I think MooCow has a way to go to show he's pro-town and he hasn't improved since my post about him, true, but calling him on this is ridiculous.

Oh by the way my above post is a bit less relevant than it was when I started writing it about an hour ago, I apologize.

Well, technically, he was voted for first, so he would still be lynched at a tie.
On June 08 2010 10:46 AcrossFiveJulys wrote: LunarDestiny, it would be very much appreciated it you stepped up and changed your vote. Even you are apologizing in advance for the deuce bandwagon. As zeks has elegantly put, MooCow's posting is doing nothing but confusing the town even IF he is green. So basically we lose a confusing green and get some information out of it, or kill a red. The alternative is deuce: 99% kill a green and get no information out of it, 1% kill mafia ><
I agree - lynching MooCow will give us more information than lynching Deuce at this point.

This information might prove very helpful in the future. I am so tempted to move now.

Nice random-ass beginning to that post crate.

Tbh, I let the Deuce bandwagon go on purpose. More info for us. But I think he's fulfilled his role for me in terms of information gathering. Hence, MooCow, who leans a bit scummy to me. Not a whole lot, and in a normal situation i wouldn't push for this, but considering the alternative, I am.

You're right, I didn't actually read the russian mafia thread, I assumed it was a reasonable mafia game. But eve so, think about this... how likely is it that that's the only mafia game he ever read? If he chanced upon that one don't you think he probably chanced upon others as well?

I don't think anyone especially mafia would take the risk and change he vote now. But I am willing to do so. TBH, I didn't look up post from MOOCOW so...

AFJ and Misder summed it up pretty well in recent posts. I mostly agree with them.

Ok. I don't think anyone is going to switch their votes. I didn't have the time to do research on MooCow and my agrument for Decus is lacking (I just don't don't want to lynch TheGilaBoy).
SO>>>

Looks like I'm skating in for a last word before voting closes. Honestly with how things have stacked I think they're both just as likely to be green.
MooCow is going to give us more information. Tomorrow, the next day, whatever. This will allow us to continue to read him.
If we don't lynch Deuce today, are we just going to trust him to be green for the rest of the game if he stays silent? I sure wouldn't ask a DT to burn a rolecheck on Deuce. I would rather be in an endgame with MooCow than Deuce. At least I have something to read.
|
tbh LD i wouldn't think you will be any more or less credible whether you switched your vote or not if you want to take that into consideration
ofc i hope you choose the baller path and switch
|
Okay... what have I done. Please be good.
