I definitely had a huge suspicion that those leading the town on were mafia. But given how inactive town is and playing the other mafia game I was like, screw it, it would take way too much effort to lynch Incognito and Osmoses/Scara. xD I think I'll stick to small games from now on, I don't think I have enough time now with work and school starting to be able to analyze like 30 people and try to present a coherent argument.

When Incognito claimed Veteran and I said "I don't need to check you now" I was so hoping I didn't have to waste an RC on him. It literally came down to me deciding between d3_crescentia(my first choice), Scamp(who I went with) and Brown Bear. Then I get killed :/ Thanks to all the wonderful townies who didn't do shit and allowed scum to skate on by. Games like these are show exactly why it's damn near impossible to get rid of inactive scum. They BARELY post, post nonsense at that and as town it's hard to get rid of them because we've got useless players sitting around. Imagine you have ME as a Detective and you can't win. 20 players max and ban lame players or only allow them to play in Theme games. #Edit: Yea looking back 4 millers is like kinda ridiculous. Can't really blame this on Millers since 2 of them were playing more scummy than the actual Mafia. Where were all of the Vigilantes? I seriously hate town KP being tied to Double Lynches because of games like this.

4 guys died, we know no assassins were in the mix. Why didn't you come out and say you protected Incognito and there was a high chance he was scum at that point? :/

I'm always looking to brush up on my scum-tactics. >_> Meh I'd have to go back and read the game(doing so now from ~page 62-63) because I took 0 notes. I know I had something in my head like: Active/Semi active players with you, Incognito, Scamp who barely made the list, Korynne, Brown Bear and I think 1 other person. Everyone else except ITW iirc I threw in the useless pile.Out of this list I figured you were almost surely scum. Incognito and everyone else I had down as "possibly scum but no need to deal with yet" kinda thoughts. Then Incognito said he took a hit so I realized the town could deal with that information. Just went back and tried to retrace my steps (go look at page 72). I think at this point my instincts were correct that this list: Fishball KF91 CynanMachae d3_crescentia Osmoses meeple BrownBear Incognito Scamp madnessman was an issue of contention. I now see where I asked you to sum up why you thought Rage was scum earlier in the game. I totally left that trail blank because for some reason I felt like checking Scamp later. Either way back to Incognito: On page 73 I once again list a few players I need to resolve with once again all Mafia + 1 innocent. Now reading more I'm remembering I REALLY had to resolve this list in my head: Scamp/d3_crescentia/Incognito. Madnessman was on the earlier list of Incongito/Scamp/madnessman that I ASKED THE TOWN TO TAKE CARE OF and of course they didn't. Whatever. On page 75 you mock me saying your scumdar is better than mine and I replied that it can't be because you didn't read carefully. I should slap myself for not going with my first instinct (didn't matter because I died anyway). Of course no one followed my advice on mass roleclaiming on the very last day. With all the modkills from useless players I think that was the best shot the town had. End of the game was massive fingerpointing and no really good analysis. Regardless I want my MVP award. Even without getting all my role checks in my scumdar and strategy had us on a clear path to victory. Fucking scum stacked kills on me and I should have went with my guy on d3. Town could have followed my advice and focused on scamp/incognito/madnessman and really could have done some major damage. U-S-E-L-E-S-S. Gj to Flamewheel for putting up with the crap this game ^_^.

I think for a game like this to work, you'd need fewer people and a "1-decent-post" per day minimum requirement. Decent being something like 2-3 paragraphs. I feel like the mafia had a much too easy time. I was pretty absent for the latter part of the game on account of my new job (yeah that wasn't a ruse, I really did get a job :p) but I think I might've still had a better participation average if I hadn't had to analyze over 30 people. It was too much work to do just for fun. I mean in this case I was a mafia and I wasn't supposed to help anyway, but even making false claims turned out to be a real chore sometimes. Just my two cents, thanks alot to flame and quatol for hosting, to incognito and infi for pre-reading my useless posts before I posted them and to TL for providing a playing field. I might join for another mafia down the road when I have more time.

Post limits/content limits/etc. are simply band-aid fixes. The root of the issue, from my point of view, looks to be motivation behind the role/game being played and bad habits in hiding a power role.

I was right about all my top suspects except for Incog, and that was a huge mistake. Next time I get vet I've got to play it differently. Spent too much time trying to get hit.
