I'm not sure. I was wondering why Caller did not just say he checked meeple, but went through the trouble of including bus driver and Nikon at his roleclaim post. This could be pro-town move wishing to communicate what exactly had happened, but seriously at the time I felt there were better targets to check. At that time Caller was in quite a heat for his lurking behaviour, so he could have tried to place other Mafia in more positive light by posting accusatory evidence against him before he died.
Of course it could be me just being paranoid, so if we have any better suspect lined up I'll try to give Caller more opportunity to verify himself.

actually, haster's post just reminded me of something -- people were suggesting earlier that caller should have checked a confirmed townie such as abenson/opz instead of d3 for second night. i can't help but feel that this is extremely stupid. we know caller is either paranoid or insane (as his result on meeple gave scum iirc), so in either case, checking a confirmed townie will result in scum. the only way we can distinguish which one he is, is if he gets an innocent result (insane), or one of the people he checked flips mafia (paranoid).

That is true. Could be attempt to discredit Caller, but I think most of it can be attributed to confusion about bus driver. In fact, I do not even completely understand what happened at Caller's first night check. So whose alignment did Caller get, meeple or Nikon?
