Day Three Twilight was deepening in the sky of Liquidia as three townspeople arrived one by one at LiquidHaven Cemetery to pay their respects to their fallen friends and comrades. 789, Zona and Faronel each came bearing wreaths and bouquets to decorate their graves. The mood was somber as the three men passed by the rows of older gravestones, most of them speckled with moss and overgrown with weeds, to reach the group of five new markers at the back. All three laid their floral burdens on the long grass and stood together looking at the all-too-pristine new graves. The three men didn't know each other well, but their shared grief at the loss of their friends and anxiety about their future was enough to create a bond between them. After a while, Faronel cleared his throat, as though to signal that the solemn moment was now over. Relaxing a little, the three men chatted, told stories about their departed friends and discussed the current state of affairs in the town. The last lynch, they all agreed, had been unfortunate, to say the least. Presently, 789 thought he saw something strange off in the distance and drifted away from the group to investigate. He couldn't be sure, but he thought it looked like a ghostly figure stalking past the rows of gravestones. As he stumbled forward in the darkening cemetery, he saw how it ducked in and out of the shadows, moving quickly and stealthily enough that he could never make out what exactly it was. The figure crept furtively toward him, occasionally pausing to sniff at the flowers left on people's graves and examine them with great curiosity before continuing forward. Intrigued, 789 leaned forward to get a better look. To his astonishment, the figure returned his gaze with an expression of haughty disdain. 789 was even more astonished when the figure leapt upward and struck at him, sending darts of sharp pain across his face. He lost his balance and fell, and the figure immediately seized the opportunity, slashing his throat to ribbons and leaving 789 to bleed to death. Hearing the commotion when 789 fell to the ground, Zona followed after him to check that everything was all right. He gasped in horror when he came upon the bloodstained corpse of 789 stretched out on the grass. He knelt over the body, trying to ascertain the cause of death. The grass beneath his knees felt surprisingly wet, soaking through his jeans, and Zona noticed that even the air was gradually growing harsh and stifling. He was starting to have difficulty breathing. The thick air stuck to the back of his throat and filled his nostrils, making him feel dizzy and drowsy. He tried to fight the sensation but couldn't and keeled over, unconscious. A man with a scarf wrapped around his face appeared above him, looking perfectly at home in the oppressive atmosphere. Silently bending down, the man ended Zona's breathing problems for him by taking off the scarf and looping it around his neck tightly, cutting off his windpipe until he breathed no more. Left by himself, Faronel was starting to feel nervous as he saw his comrades leaving one by one and not returning. "Guys?" he called, sounding torn between trying to keep his voice down and wanting it to carry. "Where are you?" Nothing answered him but the faint rustle of the grass. Unnerved by the eerie appearance of the cemetery at night, Faronel decided that he should leave. He had only gone a few steps, however, when someone tapped on his shoulder. Automatically, he turned to look and saw a large fist descending toward his head. He barely dodged out of the way in time. His attacker let out a loud, barbaric bellow and charged at him. Backing quickly toward the cemetery gates, Faronel tried to fend him off as best he could. But he wasn't nearly strong enough to fight off his attacker, who picked him up bodily and smashed his head repeatedly against a gravestone until he died. Dropping his limp body to the ground, his attacker then pawed through Faronel's pockets, searching for food, before he trudged off into the night. Around midnight, the spry old gravedigger of LiquidHaven Cemetery made his rounds and discovered the three bodies scattered across the cemetery grounds. He shuddered, feeling instinctively that there was something wrong with corpses lying aboveground in his cemetery. Then he started getting ready to make room for three more markers in the newest row. *** No clue area 789 the bodyguard, Zona and Faronel are dead. Time to lynch again! Please cast your votes for lynch and/or double lynch in the voting thread here. The voting will close on Wednesday at 9 PM EST.

From glancing over the clues, the only thing I'm sure of now is that keit is mafia. Not only do the day 1 clues reference him, but the barbaric nature of the third attack as well as the attacker searching for food in the corpses pockets is a clear reference to the cookie monster. His behavior has been somewhat suspicious as well. The first attacker seems stealthy, quick, and vicious. Perhaps like a tiger? Every day, there is something putting at least a little bit of suspicion on Hobbes.

Well here is my polite good bye. It was fun playing with yall, good luck to the remaining townies; I think you might need it at this point. Why didn't Zona and Faronel come with me! lol. And yes I did just turn into a body guard, Incognito edited it to reflect that I was a bodyguard, not just green.

If the mafia/vigs attempt to hit the officials they just waste a hit and nobody dies.

1. The new clues. I feel based on this that keit is the best choice for a town lynch. 2. The death of both bodyguards. Both myself and meeple are now able to be hit during the night. I would ask medics to cover either one of us. I can also use my incarceration power to protect meeple and a medic can cover me. This way, both of us are guaranteed to be covered tonight and the medics can't make the mistake of both protecting one of us. I'd like it if everyone posted their plan of action, rather then getting right to arguing and drama. We all need to know where we all stand. Feel free to use the same template as I'm using or your own. Who are your top three suspects? 1) keit. I feel the combined clues from today and day 1 strongly point toward him. Assuming the cookie monster is the assailant in both the first scenario of the first day and the third scenario of the third day, it all fits. His posting behavior is almost non-existent. He has been active only to accuse me of being mafia, probably a means by which to divide the town and distract attention away from actual mafia. 2) Hobbes. Not only have several clues from each day pointed toward him, but as some have pointed out: his posting history could be construed as suspicious, although not overwhelmingly so. 3) flamewheel91. The first scenario from day 2 strongly fits him. He has been very hostile in his defense and pretty much just flamed people/started pointing fingers once he was accused. Who do you trust? Only citi.zen. He is the only person confirmed to be green, unless he is the godfather which I find unlikely considering his posting history. Everyone else is potentially mafia. Where does the town go from here? Lynching keit and creating a double lynch for tomorrow. Many people have been suspecting hobbes since day 1, with tomorrows double lynch we can lynch him and another potential mafia. We have the possibility of reducing mafia kp to 2 if we lynch 1 mafia today and 2 tomorrow.
