Ugh, I'm still thinking along these lines. All the serious candidates so far have multiple pieces of information in their profiles and thus clues relating to them might be harder to figure out (while mine only has a quote). But I really wouldn't know what to do with a triple vote, and I don't consider the incarceration power that strong.
I am a little worried that it's possible that meeple/DrH are both mafia, and would be happier if only one of them was elected to either position. I'm wary of t_co, too, though.

The mafia can create almost any situation they want based on who they kill. The mafia are getting a lot of information about how they could play with our heads during the night phase right now. the more objective we are, the less room we give the mafia to fuck with the town psychologically

I think if t_co turns out red we have a great chance to end this very fast. If not, we still get a number of clues, a new list of suspects (I will gladly put myself at the top of that list), and a long-ish one with likely innocent people. That is a lot of info, well worth the risk in my view.
Lynching Hobbes on the other hand... not so useful, even if he is guilty/red. Same KP for the mob, no new info.

Why would we end it very fast if t_co is red? And by lynching Hobbes or t_co, if one of them flips reds its the same KP anyway...
Anyway, I'm still thinking Hobbes should be the mayor's lynch. Clues are much better than all this speculation right now

I think he's saying that if t_co is red, those implicated with t_co (people who verbally supported him, voted for him) would also be more likely to be red, and that's as good of a starting point as any to work from.
However, since Hobbes hasn't posted much, and the main reason we suspect him is because of clues, even if he DOES turn out red it will not let us uncover any new leads.

I think that if we lynch Hobbes and he turns out red we'll know that we are doing pretty well with the clue analysis and those first we got the clues on Hobbes are not mafia.

I'm still not exactly sold on the Hobbes connection. It seems flaky at best, but I suppose if we have nothing else to go on...
citi.zen does raise a good point about the clues that would arise from the lynching of t_co though. We're at a dead end if we lynch Hobbes. If we lynch t_co, we at least get some clues, regardless of whether he's red or not.
Hm decisions decisions...
