Was it obvious? Couldn't watch live, and did Brazil try to throw the match as well?

No Brasil played at their best (well in the end you could tell they did not want to win either). And yeah it was kinda obvious, they did not miss shots intentionnaly but they denied easy shots and made intentionnal offensives faults so that they lose the ball.

Keirin is actually the only discipline in Track that the Men's GB team was expected to win easily.

Wow, feel really bad for that Chinese athlete that just fell during the hurdles heat. Seems to be no one from his team around to help, had to hop all over on one foot to find a wheelchair.

Yeah he was very unlucky. Can't beleive how many fell/pulled up in that race though. Chinese guy hit the first hurdle and hurt ankle, think the Honduras guy was the other who actually fell into the 2nd hurdle form his stumble on the 1st and the Polish guy tore his hamstring. Then to top it off Dembele got DQ'd for something xD 5 out of 9 finished xD

Not by me. It's just a shame the IOC changed the rules limiting the number of competitors per event and also eliminating some track cycling events from the Olympics altogether. Imagine them doing that to Athletics, telling the USA or Jamaicans they can only enter one runner in the 100m.

The wheelchair was right there behind him all the time, he just jumped away from it constantly It finally catched up when he went to kiss the hurdle lol Anyway sad to see would've been an awesome final if he made it through

God, Liu Xiang is so fucking unlucky. It was so disappointing when he got injured during the Beijing Olympics.

Though Madison, scratch and Point Race are cool to watch, I'm glad they aren't here because I would have cried seeing Ben Swift getting 3 golds despite him not having won anything between 2008 and 2011 in track and surprisingly coming out and winning 3 medals in the last World Championship.

Maybe by you or the French media but both pursuit teams, mens sprint, Queen Vic, mens TT, even the road race we expected gold as well as the keirin. Trott could be seen as favourite too although Hammer is a major threat.
Edit: Ok track only, nevermind the two road events I mentioned.

I add Men's Pursuit afterwards which is dominated by GB. There is no Time Trial in the Olympics and Jason Kenny in Sprint was a favorite with Baugé, he had lost in the last WC against the latter.
Also I don't appreciate your comparison with the French media. I'm not saying anything about what BBC feeds your country and God knows I could.

Same cycling team to me. So these "favourites" were just your personal favourites? Bookies over here agree with me. Mens sprint were huge favourites for me, I could lead off Hoy and Kenny to a medal Kenny was joint favourite but if we were allowed two entries (which was a bullshit anti-GB rule) we would have been heavy favourites. I think Kenny was motivated by Bauge saying he wanted Hoy because he was a "true champion".
