Le Clos looked good again, very strong finish and didn't even seem like he'd tried too hard. I'm not a betting man but I could see him pipping Phelps again.
For those that missing SK losing their finals chance to the clock not starting in the Fencing semis. The guy times the real amount of time as well...
Such a monumental cock up.
Well. While I am sure that he is right, 1.1 second is insufficient to proove a problem since 1 second can be up to 1.5 seconds. If he took the last 2 hits into account it should be enough to proove it without a doubt.

hope the aussie media rip him a new one
That's pretty harsh. It's the Aussie media that's been talking him up leading into the Olympics, They set him up to be too big to fail, and it just failed miserably. Sure, the media is pissed that they can't revel in his glory, but I don't think they're dickish enough to piss all over him, and so far, from what i've seen, they haven't.

not even picked up multi event gold in rowing yet >_<
At least you have a gold in rowing...
But we're supposed to do really well in our own Olympics T_T
That's karma for having stolen the olympics from Paris !!! (just kidding of course xD )
And we're supposed to be amazing in the pool. This Olympics is really weird.
Well, performance for a country in swimming can change a lot if you have a very dominant swimmer or not... Just having Phelps or Thorpe for exemple can easily get you 5/6 medals just with a couple of race and the relay 4x100, 4x200...
kekeke, I sort of find it interesting/fun to see everyone usually rooting for the listed nationality :D
Not even being reductionist or supercilious or anything silly like that. gogo China ;P
Though I do agree with the sentiment that it's very unsportsmanlike and just generally very bad for people to game the draws the way those badminton teams did... at the same time, as someone said: they essentially got disqualified by doing a rational thing in very irrational circumstances. But in the end the disqualification was justified of course.
