OMG threw way too hard

That one game where they were 20k ahead they really should have won if they actually went through with only playing splitpush instead of trying to teamfight, they had no reason to do it

meh. finals are gonna be a 3-0 stompfest. I wanted OMG to win since imo they actually have a chance at taking a game off of White and preventing a 3-0 shutout.

SHRC don't win games; they let the opponent lose them. That won't work against White.

I don't see RC winning vs White unless somehow both corn/cola goes beast mode enough to go even/win vs pawn/looper.

even then, they were doing fine doing stupid teamfights up until the very end. They shouldve taken third inhib tower and backed off instead of trying to fight a just respawned SHRC team when they were all at half hp with low mana and no cds.

I definitely don't think it's Royal hate.

I pray White doesn't go full retard like they did during OGN.

I'm praying that SHRC manages to just scrappily fight their way past OMG like they normally do so we can see their playstyle get completely dissected and 3-0'd in the finals by Koreans again

Sigh. Yet again OMG did all the work then lose to Royal lol.

I am pretty sure Royal would have had tons of trouble vs Shield.

I think all the criticism for China are still valid despite them clearly proving once again that they are the second best region. Everyone knows their weakness at macro play but only the (top) Koreans are good enough to take advantage of it. In the FNC vs. OMG game, OMG had quite a sizable lead from their laning phase but struggled to close it out. EDG and OMG both failed to close out important games against SHRC in which they are ahead while SHRC only knows how to pick the most strongest pick comp and brute force their way to victory with the laning phase. SSW will not fall behind in lane, and probably won't throw games like OMG and EDG. SHRC is probably the worst at matching up against them among the 3 Chinese teams.

insec is the wildcard that that gives SHRC that 10% chance of getting lucky and pulling off the upset that they didn't have last year. overall he's not that great of a jungler, but if things go well for him he can make a difference in a way that few others can.

I actually think Zero is a much better player, and is basically the biggest reason uzi can play as he does. He also gives them the control they need after they get the early game lead

game 5 of omg vs royal club was just a slaughter. None of OMG played well. All of the team made simple mistakes. They were basically full on tilt as soon as the game went slightly out of their hands.

Game 3, most exciting game. However, most importantly, this worlds has taught us 3 things:

1. Lucian is OP you idiots. He is better than all non-toplaners.
2. Ryze is even more op you idiots.
3. Everyone who China "experts" thought would be good this year that us laymen who watch only playoffs didn't particularly care for, actually is not that good (Namei, Cool, Gogoing).

inSec always played like that, people who say that "inSec was way better when he was jungler in KT B" are just hypocrites.

Zero is just salvaging all shit Uzi and inSec do, if somehow Starhorn is going to win 1 game against White, it will be completely on his shoulders.
I geniunely hope that if Zero goes back to OGN, he's going to find legit powerhouse team.

That's why Gogoing won series against NJWS almost 1v9.
Cool had his moments, in general, i will give him something like 6/10 for this tournament, underwhelming, i was expecting way much.
NaMei lost all his aura of godlikeness, sad shit.

2nd place at worlds. "find a powerhouse team".

let's fucking face it. He already did. No one fucking gives Royal any fucking credit because they always think "oh that's not how you're supposed to play LoL", which is fucking bullshit. Pure raw mechanical abilities with insane unchecked aggression is a perfectly valid way to play LoL, deal with it.

OGN Powerhouse, wei, for fuck sake, not LPL powerhouse.

Going to call everything out.
Starhorn is fucking luckiest team in last 2 Worlds.
We will never know how can Starhorn perform against Korean teams-who-are-not-dominant-as-fuck, because Starhorn-before-finals-in-playoffs are 8-4 against China and 3-1 against Europe with combined record at Worlds:

2-0 vs SEA
1-1 vs NA
5-1 vs EU
8-4 vs CN
0-3 vs KR.

16-9 + possible 0-3 in a week. (16-12, 57% winrate)

Yes, Starhorn has their style. Yes, it's legit working at Worlds. THAT'S WHY WE'RE FUCKING WATCHING WORLDS - CLASH OF STYLES.
Listening "China are dumbfucks", "EU are stallshitters", "NA are showmen", "SEAbad" and "Korea is purrfect" is just boring.

But Thorin was legit right about League once when he said that Worlds are important but people are fucking overexaggerating it.
Was KT B 2nd best team last year? Ofc they were. Were they at Worlds? No. Best example.

Also, my last phrase in this thread.
Corn in Worlds finals is a crime, have nothing against Cola for once, guy is playing okay at Worlds.

Name a fucking powerhouse team in OGN that would be legit straight up better than Royal, with the addition of Zero. SSB probably only korean team i can think of that would be better than Royal, with addition of Zero, but that's only because they're already as good if not already better than Royal.

zero is definitely the unsung hero for royal club, my dream is for him to bust out the vel'koz in the finals. i also agree that shrc has probably thrown 2-3 games at worlds in champ select just by not prioritizing lucian.
