Unfounded matchfixing accusations are not welcome. Refrain from making off-the-wall accusations without concrete evidence. |

Guy who did nothing wrong . . . .

Yay, the slaughter is over and now we get to watch SK get eliminated.

I don't really see the problem. I mean, if Trinidad and Tobago gets to show up for the World Cup, no reason for Dark Passage to not show up in the World Championships.
It's fun to see novelty regions like Brazil and see if they pull the dream too. Yes, the teams odds are will probably get crushed, but imagine the hilarity/greatness of a victory.

No one could judge gama bears at worlds last year lol, every team except najin sword if the only matches they played were one BO3 vs SKT K at their peak would have looked awful. For the record though, they were never the best Taiwanese team. Just fortunate that AHQ choked and winds dragged them across the line vs TPS

Well skill differences just show hugely in LoL. DP may be horribly outmatched, but they are still the best team out of Turkey, CIS region and Oceania, so millions of players.

Wildcard spot is important because it's possible for a great team to come from generally not-so-good region (such as TPA). But generally speaking, I think CN and KR performance should earn them an extra spot over NA and EU, at expense of one Wildcard spot and one SEA spot (and to make things fair, I'd give the other Wildcard spot to winner of a preliminary tournament between LAN, BR, TUR, OCE, CIS, SEA #2, NA#4 and EU#4 - 8 team SE bracket).
Because yeah, I think CN/KR vs EU/NA might be one-sided, but still more interesting than Wildcard or SEA vs CN/KR.

Hyped to see crowd reaction to svenskeren

Come on why are you guys complaining? Riot has to bring at least one team from those less competetive region, not for the sake of tournament, but for $$. those regions are huge, and turkey and brazil are bound to grow even more.

You're arguing a different point: which is to add more teams, but then that messes up the tourney format and requires another overhaul of the tourney. That's not the end of the world though and can always work, just depends on how well Riot would be able to execute on that point.
The other argument would be: "Replace International Wildcards with better teams from other regions," but then the counterpoint there would be, like in the most recent World Cup, "Why should we watch Honduras when we could have seen Sweden instead." Sometimes, it's there to provide a more "worlds" feeling I guess.
That's not to say the Wildcards format isn't completely flawless. The fair share of Gaminggears, Mineskis, and company don't make for the most exciting games, but it does give those regions like Brazil more exposure where otherwise they'd be left in obscurity.

I'm complaining because in past three days I had to see DP get stomped 4 times and AHQ get stomped 2 times and I'll probably see 4 more games like this, out of 24 games total. I just think there are changes to the format possible that don't scrap wildcard completely, that's all.

Problem for SK is how bad Jesiz and Candypanda have been playing, Candypanda especially.
They can't even go the "Jesiz is weak, just give him supporty champions" route because who is he gonna support? Candypanda?
Fredy can't carry from Mundo

Plus even high profile games can be blowouts. Look at Germany vs Brazil last WC. Total annihilation.
