Soaz playing scared and bad, peke just sucking since s3 worlds and cyanide being consisntently a little above average while not making many plays. Its a pity because yellowstar is playing out of his mind and controls map so well and rekkles also plays very good.

Thats because every single lane can hold and the jungler difference is enormous, let alone the fact that C9 rotate so well as the game progresses. Yes. I think C9 can legitly win against OMG in a bo3. In any case, this is like one of the reddit post goes..... "In 43 hours from this post SKT will be the allstars champion!"

I mean, they're not going to beat SKT, but I think they would beat OMG or C9

Can't say that Peke isn't playing better than usual, key point for Fnatic to hope in taking at least one game or making games longer is Cyanide and not letting Impact to freeze lane after swaps else sOAZ will be as useful as Balls against SKT T1.

They used to be a team that thrived on preparation in a BoX setting and now they look like headless chickens. I'm going to go out on a limb here and say their issue is lack of effort. There's only really one player on the team that seems hungry for these games and that shows in his performance. The rest seem to be content to just be there.

Remember the "EU sucks, time for NA to take the bronze medal" preaches we've been hearing ever since IEM? It's finally showing. Everyone and their mother is saying that EU is way behind other regions in terms of strategic/macro play, and I think All-stars are proof. At Worlds, Fnatic had a good performance because their sololaners were doing really well and they could setup these traps that noone else in the world utilized and snowball from them, and it were only semifinals that someone finally introduced a good counter-strategy (let them waste time setting traps and put pressure on two objectives so that they have to decide which to defend). Right now, Peke and Soaz might be in worst shapes of their lives and game is way less snowbally - everyone can take advantages early, but only good teams know how to close out the games. Fnatic are showcasing the problems whole Europe suffers from - nobody (except for SK maybe) is trying to be smart and think few steps ahead. Everyone is still thinking like they did in S2, where they either tried to win by individual plays or just try not to lose too much before the late game where the better teamfighting squad won. Korea set the standard for coordination that NA is trying to follow, Chinese teams are well coordinated too for the most part (altough there seems to be a different philosophy behind their playstyle), but EU seems to think that they can keep building their own, unique playstyle. Or maybe they are just lazy and doing what feels comfortable, either way NA shrunk the individual skill gap between themselves and Europe while staying ahead in terms of strategies and constantly fixing their management-attitude problems - and again, this seems to be something that only SK is doing (and maybe Roccat). Dunno, EU sucks and Fnatic are on their way out, one star player is not enough to keep together a team of dinosaurs for more than one split. Of course that's just my analysis and I'm a plat5 shitter, so please discuss if you think otherwise ![]()

Yeah Soaz is not playing well.. he had the "excuse" of tank meta back then but now I don't see why he keeps sucking. I think he'll retire soon, Fnatic Zorozero ! ![]()

I don't. To me the playoffs were the proof that Fnatic are the strongest team in region, which in turn made me think much less about all the other teams (SK, ALL and ROC). Maybe SK would be able to beat TPA, but I doubt they would look better against any other team.

To be world class team you need to meet the mechanics/individual skill barrier first, then the strategy stuff next. Main reason Western teams have hard time entering world class status is their entire roster is not full of individual talent that can hold their own. C9 starting to enter this realm, but hai's (nor link's) skill aren't good enough.

as someone on reddit pointed out, Allen seemed awful salty after the game (even going as far as to skip the handshake) for a guy who wasen't trying to win
